I knew Sheff U had a poor play off record, but I didn't realise how bad.

Been in 4 play off finals, haven't even scored 😀.

It puts in perspective how overrated getting into the play offs is, as if its virtually a ticket to promotion.

Well Burnley are probably quite happy to go up & down every season for the foreseeable and make a decent profit whilst they're at it.

Apparently 6-0 is a play off record in terms of goal difference over two legs

I didn't know until the other day that if a Club goes back up before parachute payments are finished the remaining money gets split back amongst the Premier league teams.

Surely there's a shout for it to be spread across the pyramid.

Completely agree. It’s money that is budgeted to go out of the Prem every season, it’s upside to any club that receives it in the event the team goes back up. Split it between the 72 clubs and give them a nice little boost, they need it more than the Prem clubs!

Great drama at the end but the better team over 2 legs lost, I reckon Sheff Utd will be pleased about who their opponents will be.

They both look better than us. We’d have caved in already looking at the intensity of this game.

Pisses me off seeing a tinpot outfit like Stockport doing better than us. If they miss out this year but hang onto Challinor, they'll probably go up automatically next season.
