Was fearful of having to make the changes at 1-0 as much as they were needed. Burstow was knackered but we really missed his press when he went off.

Ref an absolute disgrace. Their left winger should’ve been booked way sooner. Twice guilty of pulling his man back; the first time he wrestled our man to the floor and somehow escaped a booking. When he finally did get booked no surprise to see he was immediately hooked.

We’ve had 66 shots this season. Only 4 goals and converted it to just 1 win.

By comparison we’ve only conceded 18 shots, but still let in 4 goals.

We have real talent in the starting 11, but we’re not clinical enough to be competing for the top 2 spots. The teams who will end up in the autos would have seen out tonight, snatched a winner against 10 man Barnsley, maybe even ground out a point against Stockport by scoring early when dominating the first half.

We’re not far off, but just not top 2 or 3.

I'm hoping when Dalby is fit Bairstow can maybe drop in at 10 because we need better than Randall and McAtee.

We've got threat from the flanks just really missing that man on the inside.

Randell isn’t the best but he is miles better than McAtee. If they had brought Morley on instead of McAtee we would have won

Neat and Tidy for 70 mins, scored and just never got going again. We have been screaming out for a goalscorer for months and still nothing.

Yep may be play two strikers once we have a 3 rd through the door instead of this Randall mcatee alternate swapping about

Not sure it’s pressure lusty more sheer frustration seeing us play so well but just waste opportunity after opportunity. Our final ball is dreadful and the shooting is just woeful. Surely they must practise these things during the week yet they continue to be so poor and I think that’s what Schuey was showing tonight and I bet he let them have it both guns blazing when het got them back in the dressing room.

So you keep saying. Any thoughts as to when it’s going to happen? - because I keep hoping it will happen every game but all I’m seeing is a lot of attractive build up play with little end product and the occasional mugging at the other end - pretty much what we had under Evatt but without the win ratio. I am desperate for a run of wins now but I’m struggling to see how that will happen. Them ducks need to be flying, not paddling.

Maybe it will start on Saturday?

Just back and a little disappointed 

1st half was like attack Vs defence, you could see they'd come to frustrate us

After we scored it looked like we took a step back allowing them to get into the game 

My only real gripe is bringing on Mcatee, he's absolutely dog poo

We're taking shot after shot from very low quality positions. Average xg per shot tonight was 0.05. It's an attacking unit made up of individuals shooting on sight at the moment, rather than working more clear cut chances.

If by “opportunity” you mean having the ball 30 yards from goal on the wings or in the middle, I would agree, but for me an opportunity is having the ball in the box, in front of goal and ideally without 6 defenders in the way so I question how many actual opportunities we really had.

Don’t know what to make of that? Was feeling really positive right until just after we scored the goal. Thought we played some decent stuff until then. But absolutely had to go on and win that match. Sadly McAtee’s cameo tonight just summed him up to a tee. Strolling round like he’s Messi and giving the ball away unnecessarily trying overly elaborate passes. He thinks he’s way way better than he is.

I think I’ve finally given up on McAtee and the toe poke goal on Saturday was another false dawn.Tonight he had the awareness of a brick and the touch of a rapist and I just can’t see how he fits in. Hope he proves me wrong but I’m not expecting anything after tonight’s shitshow.

Hampered with 3m worth of Signings in Schon, Randall and Mcatee....Wingers are frustrating

Right back is a problem but not as much as we have nobody clinical in the box.

Simons and Erhahon ran their bollocks off in midfield but once they tire it is no use replacing one of them with Sheehan or Morley them two need to play in a minimum three.

Burstow put a shift in, but he is not clinical and i have reservations on Dalby

No everything is not right yet but it is way better than any period last year

It's shit to feel so frustrated 4 games into a new season but just got to remember it's early days yet. I thought Simons and Erhahon were a joy to watch together at times tonight. Looked like they'd played together for years and looked a perfect balance.

 we need to start to put more chances away 1 goal is not enough we are more than likely going to concede most games as we don't keep many clean sheets, very disappointing result tonight, early days yet, but we can't afford to drop points at home if  are going to get top 6 spot even at this early stage

We simply haven’t got enough goals in the squad. Wingers lacking quality product and until Dempsey comes back, very few goals coming out of that midfield.
