One of those looks like the one outside salford uni, where it's a 10mph zone..

Readings is in a bus lane

York's is on a private road (10mph limit)

I'd wager the others are in similar locations where Traffic isn't "flowing"

Probably. Although I bet the St George's Cross ones aren't! 😁

He's not part of the Labour Party any longer is he? He was expelled a few years afo. He's just a political commentator and podcaster these days?

Anyway - don't let that fact get in the way of a nice bitchy comment 😉

He got kicked out for admitting voting Lib Dem. Corbyn was leader at the time.

The same ones that the Tories had you mean? I don't think they've changed anything have they? Apart from reduce overseas aid? You should be applauding that, surely? Unless you just take a diametrically opposed view to anything the Labour Party do - which would make you an imbecile, which I know you aren't 😉😁

Aye, and we know what happened to them on the back of it.

Thankfully, there is a chink of light now.

Drove to York and back today. I'd say about 1 in 5 motorway bridges had flags ty-wrapped to them (usually 2 per bridge, but sometimes 4), and a similar proportion of mini roundabouts had red spray paint across them. Saw a couple of flags on lampposts. Very exciting.

Presumably, that's on the "artist's" own door?

Should submit it for the Turner Prize! 😁

See if you didn't tell any of the judges - I think there's a good chance it could do very well! 😁

Brilliant. So we're sorted then. I'm mean presumably all of the countries incredibly complex problems have been resolved now we've stuck some flags up?

Well it made the start of the journey slightly more interesting, playing "Count the flags" with the kids. They lost interest very early though, so we didn't get an official total. They are 13 and 19 to be fair.

Whether folk choose to believe it or not, there is evidence that the movement is indeed having quite a substantial effect.

What appear to be relatively minor things on the face of it are actually the opposite.

Then PM's own, and the Home office's own X accounts have seen a significant change in language, content and frequency.

The cat is out of the bag now, and no one will be labelled by any remotely sensible politician as far right, nor be locked up for putting a flag up.

I've just spent the evening watching an episode of Trigger-nometry, and started their follow up discussion.

Only seen a brief bit of one of their podcasts before, so when one appeared with them talking to and taking to task  SYL, I thought it may be worth a few minutes.

An eye opener for sure, in a number of ways.

I most certainly am! How dare you?

I'm a Reform man mate. True conservative values. Don't lump me in with that woke lot who are a shadow of their (decades earlier) former selves and politically a cigarette papers thickness away from Starmer and his team of failures.

Reeves will make you grieve.

When I was working in the outback - they used to pick up cane toads and whack them with a cricket bat for fun!

Horrible toxic things spreading like wildfire.

The cane toads too.

You climb in my estimation all the time sir. Some work required on your neatness etc. but jolly good stuff.

Did the missus not mind?

I don't disagree with you mate. I just wish the means by which they achieved it could have been a little more........ cerebral and artistic 😁

Before this ‘significant change’ when was anyone ‘locked up for putting a flag up’

Not 'locked up' (but should have been) but arrested. That cunt from Kneecap with his Hezbollah rag.
