Could be a defining game this after putting to bed our Xmas blip and away hoodoo with a new system.

Away at one of our nearest rivals with the added pressure of them having two games in hand on us already is a proper test of whether or not this system is the answer.

Let’s hope so. COYWM

I rated Iredale (above all the other options/replacements).  Plenty couldn't wait to see the back of him after Orient, but we missed him last season IMO.

He was a downgrade on John.

Iredale was supposedly signed as John couldn’t defend apparently, yet we spent most matches on the front foot with the ball, so we ended up worse off as Iredale couldn’t attack as well as John. Bizarre really.

He’s having an excellent season in Scotland both in defence and attack though.

First 5, it’d be nice if one of the 600 passes actually got us out of our half

Aye thought I'd fallen asleep and gone back a year - 3 at the back, Sheehan 50% possession on his own, zero touches in their half.

Need to stop giving away set pieces in our half - it’s their bread and butter

Wind blowing towards our goal this half too. Otherwise we're playing pretty well, knocking it about well and made a couple of decent chances. Still not crossing it soon / often enough

As in the Wigan game it’s going wide and then recycled back. But later in the game when we brought on the subs and upped the tempo the wide men were far more positive and took defenders on / crossed more. Just need to be a bit braver to get through them.

This division really is a tough watch. Half the teams seem to sit in with them low blocks, the other half its hoof ball from free kicks and throw ins. 🥱

ACD keeps hitting the first defender crossing, really frustrating!!

For me hes a second half sub impact player against tired legs. He's perfect for that, not sure he fits in this 343/523, sometimes feels like were a player down.

Quality of crossing letting us down again. At least four good opportunities down right for ACD and Tutu, none of them finding target. Got to make more of them.
