Stevenage (A)

Are we assuming will be postponed due to International call ups ?

ACD must be close to U21s if he made long squad last time. Not sure what Stevenage have and if any earlier postponements they had were due to other teams ?

Bradford at home is the week after and away tickets for that were sold out last week. No mention that I have seen about these.

  • This is a massive game, can we get some momentum ? Or was Saturday a blip ?    As far as possible I would keep the team as is. I get people putting McAtee forward but for it almost feels as tho

What will happen is that other managers will work out this formation, as well. What we have introduced is a variation to how we set up. As @Tombwfc rightly says, yesterday does not mean we will play l

ACD keeps hitting the first defender crossing, really frustrating!!

Crossing with his weak foot tho .

Id bring on Gale for ACD, McAtee for Burstow and Dempsey for Simons.

Been a weak link has Johnston

this is my beef with GJ, constantly keeping us under pressure giving away needless free kicks, throw in's or corners just seems to panic when he is put under pressure !!

Never a penalty but this prick commentating keeps harping on about it.

that was definitely a booking on Sheehan and there should have been another on Conway; dirty set of cunts these

ACD really does frustrate cutting in and going for goal when he could put it in the box.

He needs to go on the outside sometimes so the defender doesn't sell out to stop him coming inside. It's not just him. Tutu keeps hitting the defender aswell.

I would stick with Simons for now but was thinking the same about the other two

Not been as bad as recent weeks,

patience is key, and taking the chance when it comes is even more key.

He's done it once today.

We can beat this lot a bit of composure in the box and we will score.

Same old problems in the final third, just lacking that clinical touch.

Good half for me though. Defended fairly well when we've needed to and good energy across the pitch.

I'd take a point here, decent side Stevenage. Need to put a run together but got a decent set of fixtures after this.

Like the fixtures over the Christmas period! That didnt end to well!

We need to move the ball forward quicker, it’s way too pedestrian. Quite a few looking off it tonight, main culprits Johnston, tutu, Simon’s, Burstow. We have Dalby up top, try and use him.

Forino looking good for me.

Id look to get mcatee, demps and Gale on for Burstow, ACD and Simons.

Very similar to the Wigan game, we didn’t create much in that game either.

Strange how we all seem the game so different . Only one team trying to play football and its not them . We are defending well , playing some lovely stuff going forward .

Stop the playing around at the back , be a bit more direct . We are far the better side , they are an anti-football rugby team .

Aye was thinking that as typed.

We're looking better for me though. I'd be happy with 4 points from Wigan and tonight.

Need things to start clicking more in the final third though.

We need a player that will go at the opposition in the middle and put the defence on the back foot.

They’re a horrible team. 80% of what they do is just first time launch it over the defence aimlessly

Has Dalby touched the ball yet?

Get Burstow off the fucking pitch. The guy is a liability, he can’t keep hold of the ball!

Burstow needs bringing off. He’s constantly losing the ball. Nothings working for him

Philips is a thug

This Phillips could have been booked about 5 times

They are a set of dirty bastards , Phillips is the worst.

I try not to get into the 'get us out of this shit league' snobbery but might make an exception tonight. Anybody who's paid money to watch this deserves a medal

I’d switch this back to a 4-3-3, we don’t use the big man going long so pointless having 2 up front.

Come on McAtee and Dempsey get at them a bit more now
