Eddie Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Wish Johnston would realise that their long throw is one of their only dangers. He just plays it out for throw ins for fun. Quote
worthy10 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Stevenage looking for a pen at every opportunity.... Quote

At least four good opportunities down right for ACD and Tutu, none of them finding target. Got to make more of them. We need to make more of these crosses while the wind is in our favour. It’s going to be worse in the second half. Edited January 20 by FrancisFogarty Quote
worthy10 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Simons is so frustrating. Really short on confidence, not improved since his promising start to the season. Quote
DaisyHWanderer Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Looked like he stood on Sheehan then after the initial challenge? Quote

Now teams know its coming, very easy to defend against because he does basically nothing but try to score the same goals he did earlier in the season. Quote

L/H White Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Tough watch bar a 5 minute spell Positive is we aren't losing Quote
Didledee Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Burstow as been dreadful, cannot control anything. Quote

CambridgeBWFC Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Look ok, not much fluidity though and lack of chances. Can see why they are where they are and dont concede many Quote
London Wanderer Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Same old problems in the final third, just lacking that clinical touch. Good half for me though. Defended fairly well when we've needed to and good energy across the pitch. I'd take a point here, decent side Stevenage. Need to put a run together but got a decent set of fixtures after this. Quote

Winchester White Posted January 20 Posted January 20 They are quite a strong shithouse side, need to keep our composure and keep at it. Burstow not been at it this first half a bit like Wigan game. Quote

ianofcleveleys Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) A telling stat there, successful crosses 1 out of 10. We are woeful at it. Take it back a bit about the pitch, its a bit firm and, with the wind, its suiting them. Burstow looks like he's trapping a balloon at times. Edited January 20 by ianofcleveleys Quote
Ani Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 They get ball forward quickly hoping for set pieces and that is it basically. As mentioned above we keep falling for it. Quote

Arrested development Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) Burstow's touch hasn't been great. Comes across like he's trying to hard. First 25 minutes the forwards were running in behind and causing problems. Burstow for the last 20 mins keeps coming short. He needs to run in behind more, too easy to defend. It's like he gets frustrated and starts looking for the ball. Edited January 20 by Arrested development Quote
