Used to watch WTR as a student when there wasn't much on day time telly. Few films but really chucked at the expendables Cameo.

Only 3 of the original line up left, but just got tickets to see The Pogues in December. Saw them last year and it’s still a cracking band/gig/night out.

One of my bucket list gigs was back in the late 1980s at Rock City in Nottingham seeing The Pogues with Shane……and Kirsty MacColl.

There are many images of her but the one I retain in my head is as I walked into the weights room at Iffley Road in 1967 and she was doing amazing lifts under the supervision of her ccoach, John Le Masurier (not that one, but possibly his cousin).
