The team just looks like it had no chemistry at all. Playing passes the other wasn't expecting, over hitting it, looking worried and way too passive. Looked like a first pre season game. Sch

  • So poor that today. Limp, weak, no intent, no drive or desire to score. A touch too many, poor decision making and absolutely wank final ball. Not a shot on goal, fuck all created, slow

Pretty sure other teams are on the same boat. It’s up to you to fire them up. We haven’t played well in any of those 4 games.

Last 3 results 0-0 at home and 2 away defeats, aggregate 7-1.

There's always reasons we might not win but their current form isn't one of them.

Means nothing current form Nolan will have them up for it crucial we score first and early in the game.

I'm sure Doncaster performance was mainly down to too many line up changes, we just never got going .Somehow we need to blot out Doncaster and our away form and consentrate on how we can play at home and put these to the sword. The table say's were a far better side than Northampton, if we return to our more usual line up, we'll be ok. Shennan has to start.

I'm refusing to leave my house at 10am on a Sunday to watch us play Northampton at home.

Likewise.

Yes loads of games KO at 12 on Sundays (Sheffield derby recently for eg), so that they are finished for 2pm Prem games.  Different Saturdays.

There aren't any 2pm kick offs on sunday

One at 12.30 then 4 at 3pm and one at 5.30

Sheffield Derby kicking off at 12 was nothing to do with TV, even though it was on TV

Also

Just noticed the 12.30 isn't even on SKY

Yes fair point, no idea why its 12pm this particular Sunday  😄 There are half a dozen EFL lunchtime games and they are all at 12, god knows why, seems unnecessarily early.

I still think the Sheffield derby at 12 was for Sky (not saying police etc wouldn't have a say too even if not on TV.  Every Sunday Championship game on Sky upto March kicks off at 12, and its logical given there are 2pm Prem games most weeks.

There's not one single logical reason this game should be 12pm KO on a Sunday the day before everyone goes back to work and school.

Insane decision.

The Christmas games have become a bit of a pain for the fans since they started trying to give the players decent breaks between games.

Would much rather be playing tomorrow at 3pm but a 2 day turn around isn't seen as acceptable for the players these days, which when squads are this big seems overkill

Should be boxing day only for me.

Give everyone a rest.

It's just too much football. The players are shagged and the fans cured.

I would prefer a winter break. A month off would be great for everyone

Except folk that enjoy football in the winter to improve weekends.  We get most of the summer off.

There is absolutely no need to be fucking about all over Xmas

There's winter footy then there's 5 games in 2 weeks or whatever it is.

Blame the EFL for this shite.

They've backloaded it this season too. January which always has the shittest weather has the most games and all. Makes no sense

Even with the 3 Vertu Trophy matches and occasional Carabao Cup and international weeks there are still a few midweeks spare.

Christmas football is the only good thing about December/Jan in UK.

Why so low?  Its not like night matches where kids don't go on a school night and nobody wants to travel if they live further away, and its dark and freezing.

My brother and nephew are coming over from Lincoln for their 5th match since Wycombe.  None of our lot are missing it, what else is there to do at 12pm on a Sunday?  And coming home in daylight too!

I'd rather it was at 3pm, but of all the excuses to miss a game, unless there's genuine reasons, this is a 1st world problem.  Why would a regular fan miss a home game on a Sunday afternoon if they can get there?

Because it’s on SKY - they are ruining the game

Totally agree but I’d prefer Sheehan! 🤣

11 games from Boxing Day to end of Jan.

But we are kicking off at 12 on a Sunday for player welfare.

We are kicking off at 12 on Sunday because Sky say we have to.
