Well DT has courageously already laid his excuses out if it doesn't happen. Basically - we'll bomb the shit out of things as much as we can - after which it's over to you. It could be an absolute bloodbath this in the vacuum. I'm just hoping against hope the US have called this right, but their track record hasn't exactly been encouraging. We'll see I suppose.

On a more postive note I would expect our special forces are on the ground gathering intelligence. Probably if there is an uprising the prisons will be opened up early on Edited February 28Feb 28 by Dimron

Can't worry too much about that, when Iran is pretty much able to strike Europe now, and elsewhere in the middle east. That's without nuclear arms. They've been funding, and conducting terrorism all over the place, and apart from the odd skirmish, little has been done whilst they become more belligerent.

Hopefully we don't get drawn into a peace keeping coalition shit show as in Iraq. Have you read the Accidental Soldier yet?

Clearly there is no effort by our government to get those people out, so there is nothing to discuss with him. Your constant comments about the difficulty is bizarre. Of course it would be difficult. All action is difficult. Doesn't mean we shouldn't do it, and help our own nationals. We'll just have to hope that they are let out, as the authorities change.

From everything I have read - Iran could conceivably launch a missile that could reach Greece, Bulgaria or Romania. Although I'm not sure why they would want to. Western Europe and the US aren't considered to be within range of any of their missiles.

They're attempting to strike US bases in the region, obviously, and numerous waves being intercepted over Israel. Starmer confirmed that RAF is involved in defensive operations.
February 28Feb 28 Plenty of folk celebrating the twatting of the regime in London. Presumably many such events all over. Maybe Starmer will finally proscribe the IRGC. Then again, probably not.

As above, the regime was saying earlier that he wasn't even in the country. Head of IRGC and defense top bod have reportedly also gone. Way too soon to know for sure.
February 28Feb 28 Dubai Mate there said about a strike earlier but said whilst that was going on he was doing this VID-20260228-WA0032.mp4
February 28Feb 28 Hotel in Bahrain too. Another Shahed. Video feed from Israel keeps revealing sirens when incoming missiles detected, and although a fair number of interceptions are visible, it's not a massive number. The previous conflict last year appeared worse over there. I suspect that much of the Iranian ballistic missile capability has already been used or destroyed. 200 aircraft from Israel alone attacked them.
