It's the closest explanation I've seen to our relatively modern fucked up world

From past experiences they would probably query the order... there have been many instances in exercises and faulty computer chips at Norad have brought us to the brink including Minuteman Officers not launching.

US military officers swear an allegiance to their Constitution not the President

They're all cunts.

Trouble with Hungary is that the opposition leader hasn't exactly been pro-ukraine in his stance.

There are issues with Ukrainian being the designated education language for all, bit like Russia kicking off with Russian speakers in the east.

All a smoke screen of course, as they can all speak their own language away from schools, just not in an educational establishment, which seems reasonable.

Whether the opposition leader would then become more moderate once in, we would have to see.

Hungary and Belarus leaders need to balance the fact they are immediate neighbours to Russia.... Ukrainians decided to vote for the funny little bloke off the telly and ended up at war with this "empire". I know the majority here don't see it as I do, but it is a danger of popularism.

For the record Zelensky's native language is Russian and he has received lessons in speaking Ukrainian

Imagine everyone telling you for 10 years that someone is a wrong un, but you're so entrenched you defend them throughout, only to eventually discover everyone else was right - then having to pretend it was a decade-long joke to save face. How humiliating and pathetic.

Who would they query the order with, if it comes directly from the commander in chief and he confirms it is not an error?

You've lost the plot if you think Zelenskyy is even slightly responsible for the Russian invasion. You're either incredibly thick and reading some really weird shit, or smoking something that is ridiculously strong.

There was a Minuteman exercise back in the day where the psychologists conducted an experiment to test the reaction of the commanders and none of them launched.

Since then things were tightened but there have been several instances where military exercises, sun in the optics and so on where the system has said "go" and thankfully the man with the keys has hesitated, i think the last major one was in 1979?

Perhaps you could explain how Zelenskyy's election lead to the invasion then, and why it wouldn't have happened if they'd elected his opponent?

I understand that, and I know about layers of errors, miscalculations and misunderstandings mounting up to lead to a situation where we've come close to the brink. But this is a different proposition, this wouldnt be a president saying my god no step back, it would be the opposite.

Who do the shooters call then for clarification/confirmation? The secretary of war? He thinks hes playing COD ffs

He's a puppet for dark masters behind the scenes remember.

And stealing all the aid money.

@kent_whiteif you're in Thailand right now and the world could easily be in a nuclear holocaust tomorrow now is the time to get bummed by a ladyboy.

There is an antipodean immigrant and an ex-British serviceman who have started to pretend they only ever backed him for the banter, but you can tell they're still in the cult really.

Both look like absolute muppets now.

And I don’t think either have accepted they got it badly wrong fwiw

Wanderer1984 was a huge fan as well. He’s gone very quiet

And here’s the nonce right on cue 😆

Imagine calling everyone else a "nonce" after spending 10 years defending an actual nonce who's trying his best to destroy your way of life.

Interesting (long) take on this pilot rescue story. It has all seemed a bit off to me, and that's only as someone with a casual interest in this kind of stuff.

A cover story for a potentially failed ground operation on a nuclear site? I dunno, but something about it all is off.

It all feels like when he got “shot”

If that was real, he would mention it every single fucking day.

This air rescue is similar, an initial burst of “Hell yeas” then they’ve quickly moved on and stopped talking about it.

Classic Disruptor.

Imagine lying that everyone else is a "nonce" because they don't worship an actual nonce, while being proud that you ate one of the nonces burgers in his nonces restaurant. And that nonce also happens to be a fucking megalomaniac who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire, because he's more concerned with destroying your way of life than being outed as a nonce.

Couldn’t make it up

sometimes it’s just easier to admit you got it wrong

Surprised Trump has not sold the TV rights.

Has Sky News got a countdown like when it’s the end of the transfer window? 🤷🏻‍♂️
