Not that anymore proof where needed, but for the millionth time confirms the guy is an evil lunatic, influenced and manipulated by others in the shadows who are all completely focused on personal wealth and power.  It’s not just the US now, but the world at large, where the engineered chaos serves to divide and distract normal folks whilst power is centralised and democracy is eroded.

The answer? Populism has to end at the ballot box. You can see how desperate the US are to prop up Orban in Hungary for example with Vance’s visit today. Hopefully not.

Trouble with Hungary is that the opposition leader hasn't exactly been pro-ukraine in his stance.

There are issues with Ukrainian being the designated education language for all, bit like Russia kicking off with Russian speakers in the east.

All a smoke screen of course, as they can all speak their own language away from schools, just not in an educational establishment, which seems reasonable. 

Whether the opposition leader would then become more moderate once in, we would have to see.

As it stands now - the fact that the UN are discussing a resolution to reopen ti Straights of Hormuz gives me a little optimism. That's his off ramp if he wants one.

I think (and I cannot believe we're discussing this) they'd be more likely to be smaller tactical ones to destroy deep sites launched from planes rather than city/continent killers.

As we've supposedly banned bombers with infrastructure targets from being launched from here, theyd probably fly direct from the US.

Then its on the crews as to whether they launch. And if the president has told them to, they will 100%
