  • Sam Dalby. The man was possessed today, one of the best striker performances I’ve seen for us in ages. Hold up play, link up play, winning duels, getting us up the pitch, threat from set pieces/crosse

I think there should be some mention of the Grade A shithousery by the WSL faithful when we were under the pump at the death. Barnsley rush the spare ball to their long throw specialist, he’s winding

That’s kind of the point. It’s no coincidence that Dalby’s renaissance has coincided with McAtee’s upturn in form. It’s almost as if two players with differing styles can actually complement each othe

We have to go & beat Lincoln now. They’re looking like a proper outfit & will very likely be 9 clear by next Saturday.

Lots of positives from today. Good to get some goals in the bag. Been a while since we were a few goals ahead, so hopefully we learn our lessons for next time.

Must win at Lincoln now if we want to have any chance of unseating them.

Johnson in tears at the end

Wigan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Aye, saw that

I swear this football team is trying to see me off.

Far too cocky at the start of the second half and lost the plot after their deflected goal. Could and should have been that elusive long-overdue comfortable win but the fuckers had to put me through the wringer again.

Bonham MOTM.

First half we would have demolished any team in this league, second half is something we have seen too often. Not going to try and dissect it but have to say wtf was Johnston doing turning his back on the shot for the second goal? If he stands firm he just needs to lift his leg and it hits him.

No idea why in back to back games we have been terrific 1st half and then 2nd half we've almost come out a different team, grateful of the win, however it would be nice for the top 2 to drop some point whilst we are winning too, makes next week a must win and they have the insurance of a game in hand.

Big save from Bonham to keep it 3-2, their 1st goal was a lucky deflection, sometimes moments like that can change a game, just gotta play for both halves, because if we play like we have in the 1st half in the 2 last games we beat anyone.

Hopefully, the players in particular will have learned from the experience.

SS may have learned a little about their character, and will use any suggestion of hubris to give them kick up the backside.

Nevertheless, they hung on, got the win, and we can all be happy.

games change on moments. Toal leaves that and it's a comfortable save. We're as likely to make it 4-0 at that stage than them pull one back.

Gives them a boost, but keep out heads for the next 10 minutes and we're back on easy street. Instead we go into panic mode and it's 3-2 and nervy as fuck.

Fair play for steadying ourselves from that point.

Numerous professional footballers do it.

Same old, Brilliant first half, Keystone cops defending second half, must admit though thier first goal was an utter fluke and does GJ seen to be far less of a liability ay LB ??

I never played at any great level, but would always try to face up to shot and block it if possible.

There's obviously a touch of "instinct" involved- call it self preservation- but they have to try and overcome it.

Not going to pile on though, as it is so common.

Second half gave people on social media something to moan about at least.

Stop going on it then!
