My confidence has just gone from 60/70% to 10/20% if that's the case. These are so good at set pieces it's a Forino essential game.

Just got to go out there and outscore them then

I’ve no idea if this rumour is true or not, but I am fairly certain that Forino’s impact on the team isn’t that significant.

I’m more in agreement with your second point. Our success, or otherwise, is more dependent on how well we attack them and, especially, whether our finishing will finally click.

Just what’s been relayed. He might well wake up today feeling better?

guess we will see about half 1 but I would personally prefer him to be in the side 100%

Is the Forino thing just a rumour, or fact ?

Rumour, @royal white has not yet commented

Wouldnt an overhead header mean they have missed it!?

Apparently all their lot have had their season tickets disappear from their phones and ticketing accounts. Will be fun at the turnstiles

Looks like a major fuck up and we are looking at doing away with physical cards.

Right then you arrogant, shite talking, entitled, serial cheats, are you up for this?
Apologies if I’ve offended any of you, I’m only quoting the thoughts of some fans on their forum (not all of them tbf).

They don’t like us much do they? Back in the day when I worked over in Lincolnshire on the RAF bases, I always found them to be quite pleasant folk, although I never met an actual Lincoln fan in all my time there. The RAF lads didn’t like the locals, they often had rucks with them when they had a run in the city. They had a name for them, Lincolnpoops. 😀

Those fortunate enough to have a ticket, have a fantastic day in a great little city. Very scenic with loads of good pubs and bars. Real ale buffs, seek out The Struggler pub, just behind the castle it was a cracking place back in the day, (fingers crossed it hasn’t changed). Bring back the points folks.

Me, I’m expecting a narrow win. Our recent recruitment will kick in, rapid counter attacking and clinical finishing, with perhaps a nervy spell of hanging on at the death to make it interesting.

But what would an arrogant, shite talking, entitled cheat like me know?

COYFWM!

Imps 1  trotters 3.     Apter dalby with a brace .

Lincoln 73% home win record

Bolton 27% away win record

Lincoln 31 home goals

Bolton 12 away goals

Well when things start to go wrong they usually continue so let’s hope that’s the case for Lincoln today! 😁

There was a discussion post Oxford on replacing Evatt and tbf @Mounts Kipper was recommending him.

I had him down as a possibility  to replace Evatt alongside Schumacher, thank God we choose the latter. Their style is Turgid and.it suits a limited budget lge3 team. These are shite with 90% of this league. They are just the best at what they do

And 2nd.

Score plenty, and concede few.

I'm sure their supporters don't give a toss about the style- results count.

Style can't be that bad neither when you're constantly winning.

Envious Dimron. Great day for a football match over there, hope the Struggler still has the real ales, the wood fires and sound locals. Had a few good nights in there, the landlady was a real character.

What’s up with Forinio?

With better budget Skubala would produce a better style I am sure. Just like Big Sam did when his budget increased. Be interesting where Skubala goes after Lincoln and how he gets on.

Lincoln can’t change the way they play everyone knows what’s coming from them direct set pieces lowest possession stats in the division same  11 virtually every game not changed personal in last 5 .

but it doesn’t change the result one defeat since November snd unbeaten at home so no I wouldn’t expect them to change anything for us .

for us we’re still trying to find what works for 90 minutes but does give us flexibility to change mid game and keep the opponents guessing pre game to formation and personal

Fair comments, and reasonable to point out that their method has worked so why would they change it, our's has mainly not worked away from home, so does it need changing?  I don't know the answer but it all points to them having the upper hand, they have a tried and trusted system and team, we don't.

I just looked at their appearances this season and 10 have started over 20 league games.  I recognise Darikwa and Reach as players, very experienced.  The other 8 are just names but they seem to be decent players from highlights I've seen: Wickens, Hackett, Bayliss, McGrandles, Bradley, Street, Hamer and Draper.  Ben House not on the list but back from injury now.

We've got 6 with over 20 games - in order: GJ, Conway, ACD, Burstow, Toal and Simons.  A maximum 4 of them will start today and possibly only 2.  That says a lot about how settled our line up is and has been.
