I cant disagree but 92/93 Port Vale were realistically out of reach but we hunted them down, even without an injured Andy Walker........with Rodrigues and Kenny to come in and the quality of Apter and

This referee is a cunt.

We'll get a player sent off today. Not streetwise at all

But we’re going to have to be at our best to turn these over at home and Forino must start to counter long Hamer’s throws into the 6 yard box and the crowd of big bodies they pile in there. They’re a budget team built to get promoted - nothing fancy but packed with athletes, tough guys in midfield especially and pace and they are well organised so we have to be disciplined in the fight (looking at you Erhahon) and bring our quality. Expecting a physical onslaught though and Ref Will Finnie is usually fairly tolerant.

Pretty much as expected from Lincoln, but Finnie hasn’t been as tolerant as usual and our discipline is questionable. I know Lincoln are making a meal of some tackles but we shouldn’t be giving them the opportunity.
But the main thing is we are nowhere near our best.

Changed will be made at HT

Need to sub the two midfield players at half time and put Kenny instead of Dalby

Apter has been very poor this half, just not working at all for him. Would also take Erahon off

Crumbling when it matters most. Two new faces needed at half time. Still time but need to go for it & change things up

Apter Dempsey erharhon off

In the lead up to the goal too many players just ball watching, we're giving them so much space to cross, let them get the ball in with virtually no pressure on them. Standing still when the ball is in the air around our box. Just a really poor goal to concede.

We just need to go for it second half nothing to lose everything to gain but we need changing midfield

Crumbling is an over reaction. It's been pretty even, they've had the better chances but it's just get the ball in the box every opportunity.

Games still there. We've got the bench to switch it our way.

I’d be tempted to go

Christie  Toal   Forino  Johnston

       Sheehan   Simons

JOT      McAteee       CBT

              Dalby

Take off Apter (just not working today), Dempsey and Erhanon, who are walking a tightrope.

They’re shit. They’re a more effective Stevenage.

We’re not doing too much wrong or too much right - I’m not sure it’s the right midfield 2 though. Dempsey isn’t a centre mid and they’re targeting EE for a red card.

Apter having a beast. He needs to come off

I would like to see a couple of ht subs, eharahon and apter off, simons/ sheehan on. We never make ht subs. Dalby seems isolated even though macatee is playing OK but too deep. If we aspire to get 2nd spot, this next 45 will be telling...

Fuck knows what we are then.

Get Erhahon off before he either gifts them a goal or gets sent off (or both).

Highlight so far is probably that we're only 1 down.

We’re lucky it’s only 1 nil so still in it

Bit worrying that we went worse after conceding, hardly spurred us on 😤

Shitter. Apparently

I just mean that they do one thing, recycle into the box at all times - effective though.

We're struggling to live with it though. Can see why they're 2nd, a lot of dangerous balls and Olympic high jumpers in their side.
