He's got a spot in the eighteen he wouldn't otherwise have got because of an injury crisis (assuming injury is the reason we're so short) 

But many a young player gets their break in similar circumstances, so if he gets some minutes let's hope he makes the most of it

Because we have players missing.

You can't claim to be a master tactician because you called for him to be in the team 3 months ago and now all of sudden he's appeared when every cunts missing and we have another game in 2 days.

My point is he didn't pick a replacement for the missing Erhahon and Simons, which would have been the likes of Irwin, he picked our only other no 10, like McAtee and Rodrigues. In case you don't know or understand a no 10 isn't like a normal Midfielder. In the youth team for example Ritchie is our main goal scoring threat.

He's just a body on the bench ffs.

If its a 4-3-3. He could replace any of 4 players in that system.

Or maybe he could alter the system mid game and shove Ritchie in at 10 and alter the midfield.

On paper these 5 signings should have been absolute quality for a side looking for promotion. But through a combination of injury and not quite fulfilling their potential we’ve unfortunately not had any consistency on a regular basis from any of them.

Once defenders figured out all ACD wanted to do was cut inside and shoot every time he was rubbish for us.
