This is why I've been so mad with the happy clappers over the years, giving Evatt year after year, accepting our mediocrity. These same people have been saying we need to give SS 4 transfer windows, and oh we'll just do it next year, and oh i quite like it in league one. You have your fun and games while we stay here year after year and eventually we're in admin again because FV have given us up as a lost cause.

It's a fucking mad business is football. There's a MASSIVE Golden Goose sat there for anyone capable of reaching it, but it costs tens of millions to grab it (unless you are the luckiest cunts in the world). We really need to go up this season or next, and get one step closer to that goose. We have everything in place for top half-Championship, with the odd foray into the Premier League (which is our natural level IMO). All the off the pitch stuff is superb, but our downfall is player recruitment. And that's all that matters at this moment in time. Even Sharon isn't nice enough to suck up these types of losses for the next few years.

"Losing" probably isn't the right word. You could argue it's "investing". It's not coming out of our pockets as fans, and I'm sure the investors will reap the rewards if we ever do get promoted.

Agree about the big drop off in support, surprised it lasted so well after last season's surrender and a repeat of that again this season (early signs are there) Will finish a couple of thousand off.

You do know every single football club loses money and is debt bar a very extreme few?
