It's a weird one for me. Hate him more now he's gone. Spent a lot of time defending him through blind loyalty and the fact he very nearly got us over the line. The contrast between Oxford an

I’ve just had an idle thought re Stockport fans travelling down by train. Couple of seasons ago we were travelling to Yorkshire, Sheffield W or Doncaster probably, but can’t remember. The train from Piccadilly was rammed with us, it pulled into Stockport and there were a hundred or so Stockport fans off to there game in Yorkshire….they couldn’t get on. It’ll be the same this weekend I’d have thought…..what are they going to do? It isn’t worrying me, it was just a thought, I do this sort of stuff sometimes! 🤷‍♂️😬

This lot are getting together again in Maida Vale for the game.

I'll be at Perth Airport waiting to fly. Planned that well again. FFS.

Buses from Wigan NW to Crewe this Sunday.

No, we’re going down Saturday, staying a couple of nights in Premier Inn, Edgware, might even bump into Lenny Henry…well you never know. Our trip to Yorkshire, to whichever Godforsaken hell hole it was, even gave us the choice of two trains. The first one left five minutes earlier but got to destination ten minutes later, tell me how that one works? Needless to say we chose the latter for the extra fifteen minutes drinking time, not to be sniffed at. I can’t see that being the case this weekend, in fact Bank Holiday Sunday there’ll be fewer trains if anything. It would be terrible if any Stockport fans were left waiting at the altar 🤭

Cant speak for the middle/upper, but the lower concourses have been brilliant for last two visits.

Great atmosphere along with lots of bars /eateries which aren’t rammed. Few sitting areas too.

Do we have VAR for this?

Got ours today, 6 of us, blocks going like hot cakes.

Driving down from Warrington to Amersham, Metropolitan Line straight to Wembley Park. Nice and easy, do it every time.

Shitting myself all the same.

First journey out of Wigan arrives at Euston at 12.30

Just seen Avanti have advised people not to travel by train down to London on Sunday. I’m no marketing expert but that seems left field from a train company 🤣

joking aside. Bus replacement from Wigan to Crewe due to engineering works means any trains from Scotland are being re directed through Picc / Stockport. So not only is there only 2 to get people in to Euston before KO, they take 3hrs and on congested lines.

currently want £400 for the privilege too

A 1pm KO in London for two Northern teams on a Bank Holiday Sunday with engineering works going on is fucking mindless.

Don’t really think it’s network rails fault to be honest. Those works would’ve been scheduled for a while. Well before the chances of 2 northern teams being in the final became reality. Sky are the issue, don’t want anything impacting on the build up of their premier league coverage even though it’s pretty much done. So they move everything else regardless of the impact on supporters

Oh, I'm not blaming anyone in particular, but the whole "perfect storm" scenario is a shitshow.
