separately but SJM related, what a touch it was to see him enjoying the moment with the trophy on the pitch. He was bursting with pride and joy. 2nd only to Nat in stature at the football club IMO. I love him Just as much now as I did in the 90’s 

Top 3 days watching the whites that for me, very possibly number one.

Spoons breakfast in Shoreditch,

Green Man a sight to behold and unreal atmosphere before the game,

under the stands just as good as I remembered,

stands looking amazing with us outnumbering them 2:1,

early goal to get the atmosphere going,

VAR actually helping us (still don’t like it),

them putting up a good fight which meant it didn’t just feel like a coasting,

the scenes for that 2nd considering it felt like we’d been on the back foot for 30 mins,

an overhead kick,

a penalty with no pressure on it and the ability to just enjoy the last 10 mins or so and soak it all in without crippling nerves, 

the scenes after the game and finally having our time to spend half an hour in Wembley after a game to just celebrate and enjoy it

seeing Sharon and Michael James and the pure joy on their faces

back to the Green Man for more celebrations

off to the Globe for more celebrations and ending the night singing “West Ham away ole ole” to 3 West Ham fans as they crossed the road and looked absolutely fuming / gutted 

and weather that made it all the more incredible.

What a day, what a club, what a season.

My two sons are testament to that!

I did keep warning them and throwing them the sun cream.

They are still sleeping in their hotel room, but I suspect I’ll hear some moaning and groaning soon! 😂

An absolutely reckless all dayer leading up to an 8pm Saturday home game, some proper feral scenes when Simons got that winner away, and then that to cap it all off yesterday. Legendary stuff.

Was as hot as a bathtub in there though, basically shedding pure salt when I finally got in the shower after 😂

Brilliant that. I always believed we’d be capable of winning, but I thought if there was a pumping to be handed out, it’s more likely we’d be receiving one that giving one. I concerned myself far too much all week with their strengths but in hindsight we simply have better players in most positions. They’re just a very functional side. 
 

Flew out of the traps and the. Just….. stopped! Don’t know if was nerves, or players trying to manage the game by reserving some energy, but Stockport were buoyed by the disallowed goal and then deservedly got their equaliser. 
 

second half we were excellent. We won every tackle, won every header and eventually just suffocated them. One of the most complete performances of the season and could have been more by the end.

Yep, not a chance turkey teeth makes that substitution in that situation, that ultimately won us the game.

I presume yesterday will give another boost to season ticket sales.

Yesterday was an absolute belter.

Spending time with your favourite people watching the team you love win at Wembley cannot be beaten.

My best mate came with us (Wednesday fan) & he said it’s so rare to have a chairman who’s so popular, she made sure that she thanked every one of our fans.
There’s some chat about US investment coming in, I hope she sticks around if that happens.

The reaction of the players who didn’t play yesterday said everything about Schuey. He’s built a brilliant mentality in that squad.

Bring on the Championship, I can’t wait!!

Like anything in life, accept criticism when it's justified and take plaudits when they are.

Similarly, as a fan, on a forum, it's equally valid to do both. 

He will do things next season that won't work, and he'll do things that will.

He'll learn and improve himself, like many managers do, and if the club does likewise we can all be happy.

Was good to see we managed to ruin the national stadium
