It's a weird one for me. Hate him more now he's gone. Spent a lot of time defending him through blind loyalty and the fact he very nearly got us over the line. The contrast between Oxford an

Went exactly as I thought. Topless manc fart knockers singing Bolton get battered, going home in tears. No more lower league nonsense for me. Schuey is the fucking boy

Right, pass me the humble pie coz I'll have a massive slice please, i was wrong.

Fair play 👏

That save by Bonham at 2-1 had echoes of branagan’s penalty save against Reading. Crucial save, crucial time.

And Bolton scoring an overhead kick at Wembley? Fuck me, days simply don’t come more perfect than that.

Some of their fans were like this on their way to Wigan a few months ago, changing at Bolton as we were getting on. Giving it oh dont worry lads maybe you'll manage to beat us one day.

Aye.

I was amazed how many of them were cocky, little gobshites.

And I would have loved to bump into some of the ones we passed in the service station on the way down on the return journey.

You know those little comments that aren't worth getting arrested for but make your blood boil to the extent that you have to stop yourself getting involved? 😁

Anyway - like Wigan. Hopefully we won't have to consider them again for another 20 odd years. They can have a little rivalry amongst themselves.

Some PROPER rivals in the Championship next year.

back to the Green Man for more celebrations

It was great in there.

But absolutely scorchio!

We hid under that shed for the majority of the time, even stepping out for 5 minutes felt like hard work. There will be some people with sorer backs / shoulders than heads this morning!

My two sons are testament to that!

I did keep warning them and throwing them the sun cream.

They are still sleeping in their hotel room, but I suspect I’ll hear some moaning and groaning soon! 😂

All three of those play off games have been fantastic experiences. Thats the kind of campaign we'll still be talking about 20 years down the line like we do with Europe.

An absolutely reckless all dayer leading up to an 8pm Saturday home game, some proper feral scenes when Simons got that winner away, and then that to cap it all off yesterday. Legendary stuff.

Was as hot as a bathtub in there though, basically shedding pure salt when I finally got in the shower after 😂

I hope these can be added to the new book 👍

Brilliant that. I always believed we’d be capable of winning, but I thought if there was a pumping to be handed out, it’s more likely we’d be receiving one that giving one. I concerned myself far too much all week with their strengths but in hindsight we simply have better players in most positions. They’re just a very functional side.

Flew out of the traps and the. Just….. stopped! Don’t know if was nerves, or players trying to manage the game by reserving some energy, but Stockport were buoyed by the disallowed goal and then deservedly got their equaliser.

second half we were excellent. We won every tackle, won every header and eventually just suffocated them. One of the most complete performances of the season and could have been more by the end.

Brilliant day. I’m still fuckin knackered

I hope SS gets the credit he deserves from all of us now. His tactics, formations, subs, personnel choices (turning Tutu into a right back!) have been much maligned by some.

But his manner, his in-game management, his man-management, his tactical astuteness and adaptability have played a massive part in our promotion to the Championship.

YES! The Championship! (First time I’ve written that!)

Yep, not a chance turkey teeth makes that substitution in that situation, that ultimately won us the game.

schumachers super white army clap clap clap clap

I presume yesterday will give another boost to season ticket sales.

 😂

You should write a book about it 🤔

Btw if that is a red card and a pen the game has gone

That's the law now ungentlemanly conduct it happened in the premier League earlier this season but it wasn't in the area and just a sending off and free kick

Credit to Cissoko for not going down in the box like he'd been scalped as well

Unfortunately it ends with us getting beat at Barnsley in the play offs...

We'll win one of them, some day!

You'd think so.    Couple of thousand maybe.  I know its been said several times but there's some belting games next season

Like anything in life, accept criticism when it's justified and take plaudits when they are.

Similarly, as a fan, on a forum, it's equally valid to do both.

He will do things next season that won't work, and he'll do things that will.

He'll learn and improve himself, like many managers do, and if the club does likewise we can all be happy.

Was good to see we managed to ruin the national stadium
