To be honest I think we would have gone down the following season. Biggest problem was not getting back up in 12/13.

Looking back, the Championship playoffs that year were ridiculous. Palace had a front line of Zaha, Bolasie and Glenn Murray. Watford went up a couple of seasons later, Brighton a few more after that (and haven't been back down since). Leicester had Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy up front and within three years had won the Premier League.

And there we were lumbering about hoping Chris Eagles might drag us up.

One of the most replayed moments in EFL history (Troy Deeney vs Leicester) only happened because Freedman tried to be a clever twat and started Rob Hall.

Good player Moylan and Lincoln would really miss him. Shame they couldn’t just keep everyone together and see how they fared but I suppose it was inevitable some would leave after Scubala did? At least it might be one club we’ll finish above, just need two more now.

Good player but he only scored 11 of their 89 goals last season. Squad wise they are still miles stronger than us (given that we're arguably weaker) but I do think their managerial situation will see them struggle, it just depends how long it takes them to get a proper manager in, not too long I suspect.

If your a medium to large size club just pay your tax bill and you will be ok non of gone out of business Glasgow rangers came the closest after us we just had a owner in Eddie Davies who was willing to sell it to anyone and lumped all the money he put into loans . everyone else has managed to muddle through all these teams in the championship spending above there means will do as well

Most of the fans of our rivals are having meltdown as well.

Preston, Rovers and Lincoln to name a few. Lincoln thumped by 10 man Barnsley this evening and last week a thrashing by Grimsby. Meanwhile we draw with Everton and beat Breda but we're shit.

I don’t think anyone’s said we’re shit but I think everyone agrees that we need more than we’ve currently got to at least survive but equally I don’t think anyone’s doubting that we will strengthen before the window closes. We’d just like it to be sooner rather than later.

I think Burstow isn’t a number 9… if we could have got rid of Mcatee and Randall I’d of kept him to play off Dalby.

Good luck to him & all that, but i'm taking not signing Burstow as a promising sign that we're not making panic buys of players who don't look championship standard & (hopefully )looking at a couple of better options upfront.

I'd still hope we can offload McAtee & Randall though !!
