bristol_wanderer Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 was the moment Cahill decided to join us instead of us instead of Brum. A Meite, O'Brien, Michalik and Fojut defence would have had us relegated a few weeks ago. Having seen their defence recently and ours, I can see why they were so miffed.
leigh white Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Playing our full side at Wiggin, it confused a lot of our oppenants.
Mounts Kipper Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Cahill has been immense for us and with further experience we are talking about a future England centre half.
Ashey Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Cahill has been immense for us and with further experience we are talking about a future England centre half. That's if he doesnt get snapped up for silly money in the summer

I agree 100% Gary Megson did the club and the fans proud with this capture. It is decisions like this that sort out the competent managers from the mediocre. the moment gary megson was appointed .....never in any doubt.See above
ZiggyStardust Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 The moment they decided to stop playing 'Hi-Ho Silver Lightning' as the teams came out. Way too Brummie for my liking.
Guest The Special One Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 The key moment wad when Jussi "got injured" in f?cking one
Zozzy Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Oi! leave Jussi alone, he has been a great player and a great servant to BWFC for 10 years and he can still do the business. He isn't passed it yet.
Ziggy Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Oi! leave Jussi alone, he has been a great player and a great servant to BWFC for 10 years and he can still do the business. He isn't passed it yet. I hope he signs a new contract... THEN WE SELL HIM, ASAP!
gibobwfc Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 key moment in us staying was was probably the first twenty mins in the west ham game what a difference a goal a class keeper and 90 mins makes eh
frank_spencer Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Nolan getting a 2 match ban and resting those niggling injuries. I've still no idea what he's good at but we're twice the team with a fit Nolan in there
wovlad Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 10 points out of a possible 12 in the last 4 games. Back to back home & away wins in the process & the key players in those games Davies vs West Ham Al Habsi vs Boro Cahil & Al Habsi vs Spurs Diouf vs Sunderland
Traf Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Oi! leave Jussi alone, he has been a great player and a great servant to BWFC for 10 years and he can still do the business. He isn't passed it yet. Zozzy, nobody is disagreeing with you. He has been a great player for us. He has been a great servant (albeit a well paid one) too. He probably can still do the business. He probably isn't past it either: keepers tend to enter their prime years in their 30's. However, I believe (as do many others) that Ali Al Habsi has had a better season than Jussi and seems ready to claim the keeper's spot as his oww, providied his agent doesn't fill his head full of shite as he has done with Jussi.
Guest westmidswhite Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Cahill has been superb but some credit needs to go to McCann and Samuel; these two had awful starts to their Bolton days but have really turned it round
