jules_darby Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 And the relevance to this thread is? JAL Bit harsh seeing as the thread's based on the sponsor's name on the kit
no balls Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Bit harsh seeing as the thread's based on the sponsor's name on the kit sponsor? colour? erm, no I'm not seeing a link there when there's a perfectly good rumourmill thread on colours/styles on this site already.
jules_darby Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 sponsor? colour? erm, no I'm not seeing a link there when there's a perfectly good rumourmill thread on colours/styles on this site already. The link is the shirt, it was hardly crime of the century Angry woman :p
no balls Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 The link is the shirt, it was hardly crime of the century Angry woman :p I was just saying like! Grumpy man! :p
MickyD Posted June 9, 2008 Author Posted June 9, 2008 sponsor? colour? erm, no I'm not seeing a link there when there's a perfectly good rumourmill thread on colours/styles on this site already. And in any case, what if the new sposor was "Blue Material Footy Shirts R Us Ltd." The colour of the shirt would be very bloody relevant then wouldn't it?
no balls Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 And in any case, what if the new sposor was "Blue Material Footy Shirts R Us Ltd." The colour of the shirt would be very bloody relevant then wouldn't it? I think we'd need to get a whole new squad with bigger chested players too so I do hope you're not trying to tell us that's the new sponsor, Michael.

Or we Sign Michael Sylvestre from down the road. I seem to recall from my teenage days that, apart from being my brother, he's also got a row of 40 medals on his chest.
fruitbat69 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 And you believed some shop assistant is privy to all the club's marketing policies?Incredible. Well NB seeing that "employee" was the manager I would guess there is some credence to what was said. I bow to your better judgement though. I was told home kit out end of July and away kit in August. JSL

I was told home kit out end of July and away kit in August. JSL I can't imagine the manager is privy to financial knowledge like that and frankly, I think it was unprofessional of him to come out with comments like that to a random shopper, don't you think FB69? JSL.
Tyler Durden Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 legal challenge on behalf of football fans throughout the country at the ridiculous profiteering the club is taking us for. It isn't compulsory for you to purchase the shirt...... you choose to buy a shirt or you can choose not to. JSL
Mike Hunt Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I think we'd need to get a whole new squad with bigger chested players too so I do hope you're not trying to tell us that's the new sponsor, Michael. bring back Trevor Morgan! Sumo!
Casino Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 If the shirt is staying the same, i.e. no change in sponsor, I wonder if one of the not-rights on here who have too much spare time on their hands, fancies starting the ball rolling with a legal challenge on behalf of football fans throughout the country at the ridiculous profiteering the club is taking us for. so your place offers their services at cost or less? i think not
Ani Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 so your place offers their services at cost or less? i think not The club made a commitment not to issue a new home shirt every season unless there was a significant chnage such as change of sponsor. No place offers services at costt or less but if a shirt is sold with a 2 year life span then you are getting into Trades Description Act. If someone has bought the shirt using a bolton wanderers credit card then it gets even more complicated. I am sure as seems inevitable the shirt changes that the club will be able to explain why................ they would nt forget their commitment would they ???

Maybe so my lovely but only saying what i was told. The messenger has been shot But if you don't know what's going on then no one knows JWSL
