MickyD Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 I've heard today that; and I quote, "No way are any flight company getting their name ob the front of the shirts." This is from a brother of a groundsmen so none of your aunties brother's window cleaner's dog groomer's sister going out with a bloke who cleans Vas Te's car.

Burndens Bogs Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 (edited) I can see the headline in tomorrows BN "No way are any flight company getting their name on the front of the shirts." - Says a brother of a groundsman. Edited June 6, 2008 by Burndens Bogs
The True Marple White Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 thank god for that!! would have been an embarresment!!! RBK will do for me!
YATESY Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I would rather have the story from the guy who cleans Vaz Te's car - he must be a fast fcuker to keep up!
C86 Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 So if they stick with Reebok and change the shirt would they not be breaking the club charter regarding the changing of said shirts?
BWFC = Priceless Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I think everybody should follow on what Aston Villa have done and support a charity on the front of the shirt.
fruitbat69 Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 No chance of a whip round and getting wanderersways.com on it ?
Ani Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I think everybody should follow on what Aston Villa have done and support a charity on the front of the shirt. look at the publicity villa got. reebok would get the same by saying 'we are the sponsors we will pay whatever we have agreed' however the club can carry the name of a charity' their logo could still be on the shirt as manafacturer........................
fruitbat69 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Spoke to employee in club shop on Saturday who confirmed sponsor for the shirts will still be Reebok. I asked why they were changing home shirts after only 1 season and his reply was amazingly "because the club had a bad season last year and want to put it behind them by introducing a new home shirt". Incredible
Happy Wanderer Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I asked why they were changing home shirts after only 1 season and his reply was amazingly "because the club had a bad financial season last year and want to put it behind them by introducing a new home shirt to bring the profit magrin back into line".
YATESY Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 If the shirt is staying the same, i.e. no change in sponsor, I wonder if one of the not-rights on here who have too much spare time on their hands, fancies starting the ball rolling with a legal challenge on behalf of football fans throughout the country at the ridiculous profiteering the club is taking us for.

Well Salford Trotter is a lawyer................!
bolty58 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Well Salford Trotter is a lawyer................! True, but he doesn't get involved with whites. Maybe he could help with the coloured second or third kits though?
TheWanderer1958 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 True, but he doesn't get involved with whites. Maybe he could help with the coloured second or third kits though? A bit racist that isn't it???
NZtrotter Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Everything from last season should be out the door, (except the fight they showed in last five games), shirts were shit, get them out, get them out now, back to all white for next year.
MickyD Posted June 9, 2008 Author Posted June 9, 2008 I thought we were in all white. This year, because we seem to be blaming the kit not the tactics, we should go for white shirts/blue shorts.
no balls Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Spoke to employee in club shop on Saturday who confirmed sponsor for the shirts will still be Reebok. I asked why they were changing home shirts after only 1 season and his reply was amazingly "because the club had a bad season last year and want to put it behind them by introducing a new home shirt". Incredible And you believed some shop assistant is privy to all the club's marketing policies? Incredible.
NZtrotter Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I think we were all white, forgotten already. But we should get rid of those little bits of blue and red, they were the difference, they made us look crap.
LatinoHeat Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 the new home kit has reverted back to blue shorts the away kit is gold
HomerJay Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 the new home kit has reverted back to blue shortsthe away kit is gold actual statement or man in pub rumour?
