pike_mill_white Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 The way Ramadan works over here in Oman is when the sun sets (around 6.23 but obviously changes each day) the Muslims break fast and pig out big style and often carry on eating until 2.30am. The other way they do it is eat at sunset then go to bed then get up at 4am before sunrise and eat again then go back to bed. They come into the office at 9am and then leave at 2pm, to go back to bed! It doesn't really affect me but not being able to get a beer for a whole month is not good, not good at all and with all the bars shut I can't watch Bolton on a Saturday night.

But, I'm sure there are places if you know the right people! Getting bacon is no problem, but its $15 a packet! There's always Vimto, they drink shit loads during Ramadan for some reason!!!
