Wanderers V Stoke

Cant argue with that! Megson shouldnt be changing the team for next week after a victory imo.

Stoke could be a different challenge to Portsmouth -I"m not sure K Davies will have the same success , you can"t bully Ab Faye.

With Klasnic,Elmander,Lee,Gardner and S Davis still to come we may be able to pick teams to suit the opposition.

Bolton 1 - 1 Stoke

Att: 21,094

Summary: HOOF!

I am going to say 2-0 to us a steady display :good:

Head says I think Stoke will score more than us as we're struggling to defend properly for 90 mins, they'll bully the likes of Muamba, M Davies, Steinnsson and Taylor - scoreline not sure - back to booing and a fucking depressing walk back along the A6 - if McCann starts I will fucking cry

Heart says team got over it's early teething problems and will put in a real good performance and coast it 3-0

(I've lost track of where my reverse pyscological double bluff approach is up to)

Muamba wont get bullied by anybody that is for sure.

The lad can break up play but he's not in the mould of midfield general yet - never seen him grimace at anyone Viera style?? Also forgot to add Cohen the midfield looks a bit light weight if we go in unchanged, which makes me think he might go for McCann - please god no - I'd rather go with what we have and try and out play them ball on the deck - will Megson feel the same, unlikely. All in all it will be interesting to see who he picks with a nearly fully fit / non suspended squad - just won, at home against a team in and around us - history tells us what to expect but here's hoping for a change.

Are you having a laugh?

You must watch a totally different game to me because Cohen isnt one for getting knocked around either, he loves a tackle and he gives as good as he gets.

Muamba and Cohen will not be bullied by Stokes midfield. I'd personally keep the same team, with finally some (decent) options on the bench.

2-0 for me... But I'm shite at predictions :pardon:

2 of the 5 blocks in the South Lower are on sale to Bolton fans,so i would have thought 3,600 max from Stoke.

Aahh fair enough.

Can a game be a must win when it is only the 5th game of the season?

Anyway, I reckon 2 - 0 K. Davies & Taylor

Building on a solid 3 points at Portsmouth with a 2-1 win which shows pleny of grit, although not much style as we battle back from conceding a goal in the first minute. Chung yong to come on and steal the show! Come on you Whites!

There's goals in this here game just like last week

5-2 to the whites

Plenty of fighting

12-1

elmander getting 9, fishy 2 and bigj 1

I predict progressively warmer beer in the Fanzone. The 5th bottle will be positively tepid, the 6th as warm as the pies.

Gritty stuff on the pitch with an overtime field goal winning the game for Bolton Pastryots.

Meeting a couple of Stoke fans for a pint before the match on Saturday.

Don't fancy Beehive (full of Stoke). Thinking about the Greenwood. Does it still let away fans in?

It does serve straight people apparently, gayers are more than welcome though.

P.S. It is also a God awful place full of people Henley'd up to the max.

12-1

Greenwood is shite, Victoria a bit further up is better.

Bolton to win 1-0, last game on MOTD

I think Brownlow and Barnstormers both used to be a bit of a mixed crowd in the early days but not been for a few years. They might not even be open now!

2-0 to the trotters; taking my niece (manure fan) to her first match. Birthday present from "uncle dickhead" Bolton Fan :pardon:

I'm pretty sure that the Brownlow still let away fans in, you used to pay a fiver to park and get a fivers worth of beer tokens to spend in the pub, used to be alreet in there.
