Stoke could be a different challenge to Portsmouth -I"m not sure K Davies will have the same success , you can"t bully Ab Faye.

 

With Klasnic,Elmander,Lee,Gardner and S Davis still to come we may be able to pick teams to suit the opposition.

Anyway, I thought it was out of order when the team turned on Ricketts even if he did fuck it up. It'd be justice if the player Meggo signed who is a worse defender than the one he replaced lost the game and Meggo his job though. However, he had turned the left-back before and it was a stonewall penalyt. I'd play Ricketts on the right-wing, if anywhere, as he ain't a defender and Steinsson back where he should be.

 

Klasnic looked good, Gardner is back, McCann and Ricketts are shit, the jury is still out on Zat Knight.

The crowd were a fucking disgrace, 25 minutes before they started booing. The North Stand should be reassigned as the Singing and Booing Stand. There were some mongalongadingdongs on the back row, under the Anthill Mob flag, that were jumping around and pointing like something out of South Park, I can only assume they were on a Care in the Community outing.

I don't think he played for it, the bloke fouled him, they didn't complain at all. Just a shit challenge.

I know a lot of people on here may of seen worse [not the football, you can't get worse than this!] but this is becoming a joke.

 

At home against a poor team especially away from home and Megson sets out the team to play 4-5-1 and defend. For me i know this team can't play good football so i never booed, we simply don't have the players manager or style to play well.

 

All the time our defenders just lump it in the air, that's not a skill it's pathetic, there hoping to get lucky and K.Davies 'may' win the ball.

 

Do they not understand we don't appreciate this kinda football, why are we always negative! it's embarrasing and an absolute borefest to watch, yes Bolton are our team who i hope we all care for, but this is the same 1 dimensional rubbish each week each game. Why can't we pass on the ground or even score an open play goal.

 

I don't know how long Megson has left, but it must very close to ending? i dunno.

 

He doesn't do him self any credit, i mean if he started 4-4-2 with Gardner or Lee instead of McCann[ why do we need him] and played Steinsson at right back then the majority of the blame on the players.

 

Does he think he's gonna stop people booing if he's setting out to defend and put Davies up top [who usually go off to the wing] and carry on with this style.Why did he buy Lee [ he's not featured for 3 games, he was the most promising signing of the season! and impressed when he's been given time]

 

In our last 2 games we have somehow got 4 points, last week we were given 2 disputed goals and today we deserved to lose, any home team playing like that does, but got a definate penalty that only covers the cracks.

 

After Birmingham we have a very difficult October, games like Stoke, Hull, Sunderland is were we need 3 points, i just wish we could go all the way back to December 31st 2006 , our problems started after that 3-0 loss to liverpool on new years day 2007.

 

It's not even enjoyable anymore A really bad start to the season once again, and nothing has changed, our defending was supposed to be better , we are surely not in a transitional period anymore but still Megson sticks to playing ugly. I will pay my money to watch, but are Bolton value for money, no! it's a real shame.

But we didn't deserve to lose.

Yes Megson got his Selection wrong with 1 striker, but if you lot take off your rose tinteds he rectified it at H/T

and we conceded when we had our 2 strikers on in the 2nd half.

 

Allardyce never ever changed it until 80 fooking minutes.

 

This board should close from saturday 3 oclock till Tuesday its fucking depressing listening to people sprout shite.

 

We deserved a point today and with the chances we created 2nd half could have had all 3.

I don't have "tactics" on an internet forum since that would indicate I have all the social abilities of a mushy pea. I'm just a bit bored of all the negativity and eagerness to blame everything on 1 man. Life's too short and I've been blessed to sit through good times following the club and am not inclined to go off the charts over a slow start to the season.

 

When and if I think Megson needs to go I'll say so. For now, he deserves more time.

We now seem to be at a point that used to wind the fuck out of use when we first came up.

 

Can your remember when people used to say will if you cant beat Bolton, now replace that with another team but now its Bolton fans that are saying , what right do we have to say that ( just beacuse we've in the prem long I dont think so) ,you have to earn the right to beat teams ,not the right to beat them just beacuse they have come up or its there 2nd year or because they are not playing will.

I won't comment on whose to blame cos my opinion is irrelevant compared to the problem... BUT we are no longer at any advantage playing at home and there is a big division opening up. Manager is clinging to his good relationship with the players as it's obvious that there is now a majority of fans unhappy with performances. Manager is attempting to blame the bad atmosphere at what he calls 'this place' ... rather than OUR place.

 

I always support the team. I'm disappointed but I suspect we 'the fans' are being roundly blamed for the bad performances in the dressing room. So where do we go from here?

After saving his job with a late winner at Portsmouth, Megson had a chance to push on with a strong home performance and he fucking blew it.The team selection was utterly depressing.When the team was announced I knew it was going to be crap.We won't win home games with so many defensive players on the pitch and he has to go because he isn't learning from his mistakes.

The rumour about McLesh was confirmed today by a good friend who knows the right people, I know we all know poeple but I'd like to think I only post things like this when I'm confident they are true.

I don't beleive McLesh is the answer though.
