Moderators Horwich Posted November 24, 2009 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2009 Burnley had a much better team out last night, not really bothered about that. Cork is a nob jockey. Went to quite a lot of reserve team games last year, the guy couldnt run a bath. 5-0 down against Man City, Cork hasnt made a sub and he spent all of the 2nd half laughing and joking with the City bench. Guest Blixa
A couple of shite gossip sites are claiming Shearer is in the frame for the manager's job. Sounds to me like: 1. A load of shit 2. A very silly move 3. Worringly, a possibility if Megson does go Think I'd rather have Lawro (for manager, not in the biblical sense).
Traf
Shearer as manager? Hopefully he'll play too. He'd score more than El Mandy.

Whisky Face
Given who was suggested / speculated when Lee was on his way out and given who we got as replacement, it all points to Paul Jewell or another similarly unemployed and unattractive replacement. worthy10
according to the pole that's being run, it is currently about 90% for him to go. That is an amazing statistic. It's hard to believe that he has much longer left with such strength of feeling against him. I have supported Bolton, my home town team all my life and if I've brainwashed my children as well I think I have, the legacy of true support for my team will continue for generations to come. However Gary Megson is privaleged to be paying a mere fleeting visit to my club and our support with still remain long after he's gone. I obviously want the best man for the job, but 9 out of 10 fans believe we haven't got him. So come on Gaz, do us all a favour??

Seriously, whilst i hated him at jackburn, his is the strong personality this set of players need and he has far more tactical nouse than megson. Big_Girl_Oral_Explosion
never thought Id say this but its sourness for me!!! an ironic reversal of botlons and jackburns positions in 2001. He has what it takes to get us out, and more backbone than megson, more tactical nouse and likes to play some football.
