Henry_VIII Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 OK Wolves first goal was offside but it didn't affect the result. Bolton were never in it until the last quarter of an hour. It's no good playing Klasnic up front on his own. He can't hold the ball up until our midfielders finally amble up the pitch. His strength is putting away knock downs in the penalty area. 100% correct young Biff, I know football is all about opinions but the basics are obvious and sadly our manager doesnt seem to see them.

That said, he created 3 or 4 good chances for himself and missed them. We could have won today!

no balls Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 But on a positive note, the drinks selection at Mollineux is excellent!

SatanGreavsie Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) If I could have taken a picture of Satangreavsie's face at full time and sent it to Eddie Davis Megson would be gone in a flash, I have never seen a man look so broken at a football match. Without taking anything whatsoever away from the sentiment, the fact that I was bladdered probably played a part But you're absolutely bang on about the fans and the general atmosphere - and, ultimately, it's down to to Megson. Is it all his fault, however? No, of course not - the club's PR efforts have been criminal. They knew he had a dodgy PR reputation and so a professional exercise should have swung into operartion right from day one. He himself should have made the effort - or have been forced to. But no - by way of example I've given before, at the Brum game we won and in no small part that was thanks to a cracking away support. at the end what does he do? Fuck straight off down the touchline and into the tunnel. The stupid, stupid cunt. Had he bothered to come over to the fans and give a it a bit of the Stuart Pearce then who knows.... But no - so fuck him. He doesn't give a tuppeny shite about Bolton Wanderers - a club that were around long before he was born and will around long after he dies. Cunt. Ive seen you bladdered loads( no in fact everytime) at full time so its all relative The fact people like you have lost faith in him and people like Biff are worried that we are going down says it all. Tshirt looked good btw Oh on a lighter note after I was talking to you before the game Whitesman asked who you was, I told him Satangreavsie "No its not" he says "I asked a bloke if he was S&G in the Brownlow arms and it wasnt him" Daughter just said to me "Thanks Dad Ive had a brilliant day, really enjoyed myself been great........................apart from the actual match" Welcome to life as a BWFC fan

It took me about 30 years to find out the match was, largely, immaterial. And I agree, the T-Shirt looks great.
SatanGreavsie Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 But on a positive note, the drinks selection at Mollineux is excellent! Nowt like seeing football in the flesh is there; to be there, to witness first hand the athleticism and effort from people who are just a few yards away from you - so close that your senses are buffeted by the waves of sheer determination stemming from each and every straining sinew You felt that didn't you NB? ::

That was an emotional moment indeed! & remember kids, red wine & diet coke isn't so wrong!

glasgowwhite Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 But on a positive note, the drinks selection at Mollineux is excellent! agreed, but must add very expensive though!
DaveTheRave Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Gutted. I really thought we'd get 3 points today. We didn't look dangerous until they were sat back on a 2-0 lead. Just seen the goals again on MOTD. How the fuck did the linesman not see their 1st was 2 yards offside?
Wulfhere Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 But on a positive note, the drinks selection at Mollineux is excellent! Pleased to see you managed to get out of the Western and get home.
Widnes Two Hats Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Thankfully I only saw the first 10 and last 10 minutes, why they bothered shutting the bar is beyond me And I think Wulfhere stole my underpants
Guest bwfcdan Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 NOTW There view on Megson's position...
MickyD Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Nobody has mentioned yet, apart from the obvious missing of the offside first goal, what the f?ck does Foy think constitutes "no advantage gained"? Twice yesterday, Bolton were fouled but the ball ended up in open space with only a Bolton player nearby. Both times he didn't wait to see how things developed, he just blew immediately!
DaveTheRave Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Foy is a tranmere fan. Should we expect any fair decisions from him?
C86 Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 NOTW There view on Megson's position... Anybody off on the picture picking there nose?
