Arnold Jackson Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 [Cue Denny Laine] We've already said. . .
HomerJay Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 i doubt he will, but i'd be suprised if board discussions dont take place. ive always backed him, because i dont believe in the whole "negative football" and "killing our club" crap. there is more to being a manager that what happens on a saturday but results are what matter and results are shite, therefore the clock is ticking AND FAST. i honestly think gartside and davies will certainly now be considering their options.

That's it,tbh ,no point sacking him tomorrow unless there's a suitable replacement to come in on Monday. We need to get the next appointment right - it'll be tough though.

We need to get the next appointment right - it'll be tough though. Not posted on here long but this is the best post i have seen yet. We all know that we would be better off with a better manager but when we sack Megson we need to be sure we have a decent manager lined up, THE NEXT ONE IS CRUCIAL! I think we need to be coming up with as many names as possible then whittle them down to see if there is a viable alternative to Megson! Who do we think!
jolly-olly Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Megson, clear your desk, do not pass go and do not collect your wages. I am very, very worried that our stint in the top league is coming to an end. Wolves are a very piss poor team but battered us in the first half.

I believe that there would be a lot of applicants for the job.
Guest Blixa Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Didn't go, so can't comment on the match, but let's be honest, Megson is going nowhere based on today's result. Surely everyone realises that?

HomerJay Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Everyone does apart from our beloved chairman my monies on the decision being out of his hands. the final decision will be financially based by eddie davies.
clown Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Can anyone point me in the direction of a bookie offering a next manager sacked market?
Hutch Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 He was 13/8 with Paddy Power on Thursday, I expect he will be odds on now Suprisingly, after getting beat by Wolves we are still not down as hot relegation favourities http://www.oddschecker.com/football/englis...ague/relegation Hull odds have shortened, I expect not because they lost at Villa but because Bullard will be out for the season
JimmyRiddle Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Not to have a go at you Blixa, but when has Megson ever looked the part, even when we got some results we weren't exactly brilliant, I have seen nothing since he has been here that would suggest he has the ability or know how to have us in the top 10 challenging for the eurpa cup places. He never has been that guy, he never was, but iunfortunately we have to endure it just because Gartside is a pg headed moron! Didn't go, so can't comment on the match, but let's be honest, Megson is going nowhere based on today's result. Surely everyone realises that?
Guest Blixa Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 That wasn't my point. I'm saying he's not getting sacked - it's just not on the agenda, you can see that...for now at least. If we keep losing as January approaches (and that all-important window), they'll get nervous. But right now, the board/owner isn't going to sack him. 2 more defeats on the bounce and they might.
JimmyRiddle Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Get it now!! And your right, it will change nowt for the time being unfortunately!! That wasn't my point. Tank Murdock Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 We may have had a "Coulda Woulda Shoulda" type result again today. Bottom line is another loss, and more excuses from our useless and beligered manager. Mounts, hope you had a good day regardless of the result. It doesn't just stop with m****n, I have nothing but utter and total contempt for g******e.
buckhurstwhite Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 What is McCann doing in a Premiership team? because the Ginger one picks him
Guest Biff Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 OK Wolves first goal was offside but it didn't affect the result. Bolton were never in it until the last quarter of an hour. It's no good playing Klasnic up front on his own. He can't hold the ball up until our midfielders finally amble up the pitch. His strength is putting away knock downs in the penalty area.
Henry_VIII Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 That was absolutly awful. Read a couple of things on here where people have quoted Kamara saying we battered them in the second half, we were better but no way did we batter them. I have never heard fans abuse a manager like ours did today in the second half, it was even worse than the Phil Neal days. The negativity is like a cancer in the club and it has to be cut out before it is too late. Megson has to go and to be honest if he is still here for the City game I will be very surprised. If I could have taken a picture of Satangreavsie's face at full time and sent it to Eddie Davis Megson would be gone in a flash, I have never seen a man look so broken at a football match.
C86 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 What is McCann doing in a Premiership team? Well he'll still be in it at Blackburn in Jan/next season
