am utterly stunned  we never went for moses , as i mentioned last week.

thought we may have at least gone for nugent/benjani with klasnic out, not the best but with davies and elmander our only strikers i suspect we may be better playing 4-5-1.

onwards and upwards chaps :drinks: :drinks:

We never spend in January. I think we should be happy we have kept hold of cahill, plus used the loan system to good effect (For the first time in a million years)

Sure I read Weiss from City can play upfront , may have dreamt it though <_<

Easy reposte:

"We didn't sign anyone and he still wanted to come to Bolton"

'zactly

It was them and the press that stated he came for the transfer budget - OC spoke about strucure, platform and facilities etc

Though back to the window, I am slightly disappointed we've not signed anyone a little more proven maybe?

FFS is that supposed to cheer us up?

No but rather than his 10 minute cameo roles where he cant show any improvement, we will have the opportunity to start him more often and with any luck we will see much better performances than under Megson. Obviously its not ideal but its what weve got so lets get on with it.

Klasnic is our for three weeks (two games). Why waste money on another stiker for a two week period. We have not had a prolific goal scorer for years. Most of our goals have come from midfield/Defence and set-pieces; nothing will change; it will only improve with LCY, Weiss and Wilshere hopefully providing more set-piece opprotunities and chipping in with goals. Jobs a good en til end of season. Onwards and upwards. :)

Read how postive you are now!

4 weeks ago under Megson, the same scenario would have seen virtual death-threats on the manager being issued.

With Citey buying Adam Johnson , Weiss must be miles down the pecking order there & i doubt Citey's owners will have much patience for up & coming players anyway.

Maybe Weiss will be for sale in the summer.-.don't know how good he is yet though !

Vaz Te on loan to Hamilton too. Thats all our young forwards out on loan isnt it? Oportunity for RIGA RIGA RIGA.

Turned it down. Time to get rid, I understand he is out of contract in the summer but we can still demand a fee as he is under 24 - dream on! Big clear out needed by OC this summer, Harsayni also taking good money for little in return.
