scoobydoo Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) am utterly stunned we never went for moses , as i mentioned last week. thought we may have at least gone for nugent/benjani with klasnic out, not the best but with davies and elmander our only strikers i suspect we may be better playing 4-5-1. onwards and upwards chaps Edited February 1, 2010 by scoobydoo
Horwich Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 We never spend in January. I think we should be happy we have kept hold of cahill, plus used the loan system to good effect (For the first time in a million years)

jules_darby Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Easy reposte: "We didn't sign anyone and he still wanted to come to Bolton" 'zactly It was them and the press that stated he came for the transfer budget - OC spoke about strucure, platform and facilities etc Though back to the window, I am slightly disappointed we've not signed anyone a little more proven maybe?
Happy Wanderer Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Estimated ??30M spent on transfer this window some ??140M down on last year. Football has felt the pinch this time round.
victor meldrew Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 We never spend in January. YATESY Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 This will force us to try Elmander now Klasnic is injured. FFS is that supposed to cheer us up?
forever white Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 FFS is that supposed to cheer us up? No but rather than his 10 minute cameo roles where he cant show any improvement, we will have the opportunity to start him more often and with any luck we will see much better performances than under Megson. Obviously its not ideal but its what weve got so lets get on with it.

Why waste money on another stiker for a two week period. We have not had a prolific goal scorer for years. Most of our goals have come from midfield/Defence and set-pieces; nothing will change; it will only improve with LCY, Weiss and Wilshere hopefully providing more set-piece opprotunities and chipping in with goals. Jobs a good en til end of season. Onwards and upwards. Edited February 2, 2010 by Ratwhite

Horwich Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Vaz Te and Mark Connelly both gone to play in Scotland on loan.
magic legs Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Vaz Te on loan to Hamilton too. Thats all our young forwards out on loan isnt it? Oportunity for RIGA RIGA RIGA.
bolton va va Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 With Citey buying Adam Johnson , Weiss must be miles down the pecking order there & i doubt Citey's owners will have much patience for up & coming players anyway. Maybe Weiss will be for sale in the summer.-.don't know how good he is yet though !
TrickyTrotter Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Vaz Te on loan to Hamilton too. Thats all our young forwards out on loan isnt it? Oportunity for RIGA RIGA RIGA. Turned it down. Time to get rid, I understand he is out of contract in the summer but we can still demand a fee as he is under 24 - dream on! Big clear out needed by OC this summer, Harsayni also taking good money for little in return.
