Transfer Rumours

Not much happening yet, but with the season now at an end a few names will be popping up. Firstly, we need to get Klasnic signed up and get Wiltshire back on loan for another 6 months/season.

Dindane has been mentioned in the rags, which I think would be a decent requisition. Personally ide get rid on Elmo, and get a physical striker i.e. Dindane and a pacey one.

....Castilla, last season, and it has been reported that Real want ?5million to make the deal permanent, including a buy-back clause.

must have something about him then

2 Madrid youngsters by the end of the week, a Bolivian highly rated striker on trial and a surprise signing.

According to Nixon.

this morning we are linked to a few more players, namely Ilan (again) and now Riquelme - both on free transfers

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Ilan-and-Juan-Roman-Riquelme-wanted-by-Bolton-s-Owen-Coyle-article502871.html

rather hope this link is true than this one

if these two possible signings are true (ilan and riquelme) then coyle is reminding me of allardyce in his hey day going through trying to get all the best possible free transfers (added to petrov that we have) and saving his transfer kitty.

Robbie Blake signed yesterday as he is a free agent since leaving Burnley, some on here will critisise this signing but squad wise its ok

If he plays 8-10 games & chips in with a few goals it will be seen as a good piece of business also an option on the bench

I think the rest of our signings from here on in will be much younger players.

Cant see im happy with that signing

Just a little memory jogger about Mr. Riquelme, he reminds me of an Okocha type player and whilst past his best, I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of this......

:D

not happy? can you imagine the reaction if a certain previous manager signed such a player!

Not impressed, Coyle was meant to want younger players. We're desperate for pace upfront!

Let's show a bit of patience pal.Still 2 months of transfer window left to go.

In OC we trust :good:

The transfer window isnt even open yet. Have a little patience

I was speaking to Robbie Blakes sister (Mandy) and OC was on the phone to him whilst she was there. Im not saying we want or will sign him but thats what she told me. Oh, and she's got huge knockers but ive no picture, sorry :(

Breightmet Boy ITK :good:

He's turned down a two year deal and was speaking to our goalkeeping coach on Wednesday :good:

We were interested ages back :good:

If we get Riquelme, we will be unbelievable!! Lee..Petrov..Riquelme, get Wilshere back, have Muamba breaking up the play, our new left wingback bombing forward & our new young strikers interchanging & battling to see who's the best, they will have great supply from Lee & Riquelme :good:

Long shot, but it would be like the old days of Okocha & Djorkaeff. Come on Coyle. Do your stuff

Riquelme was top draw, pants now....way off the pace.

Hope you get him.

To be fair Hierro and Campo were both miles off the pace, but they ran show whenever they played - the still takes over!!!!

When did you last go watching Boca Juniors?

Weve had players a lot more past it than him who have done well!

But you got them layers from a top team, they were still playing at a good level.

Riquelme is at Boca because he was off the pace at Villareal !

Plus, Hierro and Campo did not exactly rip up tree's in the prem.

Hate to say it but I agree with Pablo - this guy is more past it IMO

Good impact substitute of cheap though

But then we have that in Robbie Blake now don't we

You could do much better than Riquelme, for his ?50k + wages, you could get Joe Ledley !

Started to like the idea of the Blake signing, the more I think about it, effectively he will be the replacement for Vaz Te or Harsanyi. He will get games in the Carling and FA Cup and give an experienced option for Coyle to call on as an impact sub.I believe that at least 2 more strikers will come in yet and the rumours of a Riquelme deal, whilst criticised on here, would be an exciting prospect, the likes of which we have not seen since Okocha and Djorkaeff. We still have possibilities in respect of Ilan, Di Santo the Real kids and the Bolivian lad, not to mention Wilshere this augurs well for a more entertaining and exciting season. It would be nice to see other clubs having to worry about our team for a change and to have multiple potential matchwinners.

Already looking forward to August. In OC we trust!!
