Transfer Rumours

Not much happening yet, but with the season now at an end a few names will be popping up. Firstly, we need to get Klasnic signed up and get Wiltshire back on loan for another 6 months/season.

Dindane has been mentioned in the rags, which I think would be a decent requisition. Personally ide get rid on Elmo, and get a physical striker i.e. Dindane and a pacey one.

Isn't Cole whining like a bitch as they've only offered him 100k a week?

Wouldnt you whine? How bloody insulting, no wonder he is off. Poor Lamb.

He want's to be paid the same as his collegues (Lampard and Terry IIRC), take away the ammount of money and if you were paid less than those around you at work you'd be complaining too?

Not sure hes worth the same as those 2 but that's his decision.

correct.and on the subject of players wages, people always say players are overpaid etc.but the amount of money generated in the game, why shouldnt they get the money?,its them that are doing the job.if they dont get the money, who should?

Ilan from West Ham and right winger Valmiro Rocha from Espanyol

That's a hackneyed argument, Gonzo.

Have you looked at football club finances recently ? All clubs are plunging into record debts (even/especially the top clubs) while players are paid a relative fortune.

The players provide the product - correct. They should receive due rewards - correct. But they shouldn't be paid more than the business can afford. If they push clubs over the edge, there'll be no football industry to pay them anything much at all.

They are doing the same job they were doing 5 years ago and now expect 5 times the money.

The money could be used for a million different things, like paying back some of the debts, which would help small companies survive and provide more jobs for local folk.

You can not blame the players for asking for the money it is the insane chairmen and owners who say yes that are the problem.

The Premier league also should hold their hands up sooo much money going to so few when it is meant to be everyones game.

Spot on Ani. I'd have no problem at all with the players earning the money they do if the clubs could afford it but clearly they can't. Remember when Titus Bramble went from Newcastle to Wigan? He supposedly quadrupled his wages. There's no other profession where people are so well rewarded for abject failure. You can be truly dreadful and yet still expect a pay rise....

If Joe Cole was spanish or brazilian clubs would be spunking money left right and centre on signing him up, look at Arteta.

Probably the same level of player as Joe Cole and clubs are aiming to spend 20m plus top level wages to sign him up.

according to the sky sports website petrov is having a medical with us but coyle is some way off convincing him to sign.

be very happy if it happens

Yeah, he ruptured an artery in his foot. Pablo will probably be the best judge of him but I always thought he was supposed to be highly regarded at Everton. If Moyes is letting him go for a million then there must be massive question marks about his fitness. Like shit off a shovel, apparently could run the 100 metres in 11.5 seconds at the age of 12. At that price I think he is truly deserving of the question - worth a punt?

We wanted ?5 Million, 6 months ago. Cant see ?1 Million being right !

Maybe that fee, for the loan ??

Could be a cracking player, but never fit. He will run for ever, and work hills balls off, good goalscorer, great passion, but so injury prone.

If he was that injured, we wouldnt be selling him, or he would have gone to a bigger club years ago.

there probably was never a club in Qatar, him and his agent were probably just bluffing now hes out fishing for a new club.
