March 6, 20197 yr The Aftermath Too many unanswered questions and random plot lines that just fill time rather than serving any other purpose. Dislikable characters. You do get to see Keira Knightley’s fried eggs though.
March 6, 20197 yr Fighting With My Family Far better than I expected and I certainly wouldn’t say you need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy it.
March 14, 20197 yr Instant Family A lot more heartfelt than I was expecting but had it’s funny moments as well. 7/10
March 28, 20197 yr Fisherman’s Friend Glad to finally get it out of the way as it seems the trailers have been shown before every film I’ve seen for the last 6 months. Not the most dramatic of films but I enjoyed it all the same.

April 10, 20197 yr The Keeper For some reason it isn’t being shown at Leigh or Bolton so had to watch it at St Helens, but well worth the effort. 8/10
April 11, 20197 yr Highwaymen on Netflix, was supposed to be well rated. Slow, boring and a bit shit 5.5/10 Edited April 11, 20197 yr by jimmyjoojar
April 14, 20197 yr Shazam Not usually in to the comic book films but quite enjoyed it, had its funny moments. 7/10
April 15, 20197 yr Vice Right up my street this, intriguing stuff. Well worth a watch, if only to laugh at how fucking numb they portray Dubya. 8/10
May 2, 20197 yr Triple Frontier.....complete load of crap, liked the idea of it but the Film is bobbins
May 4, 20197 yr Author Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Watched an hour of it. Efron playing Bundy brilliantly. Will review tomorrow.

(Footage of planes flying into towers maybe?) I enjoyed it, Bale is just something else isn't he. Method acting mentalist!
May 6, 20197 yr The Drop - James Gandolfini's last film. I was just flicking channels and settled on this (Film 4) and was glad I did. Expecting a 'needs subtitles on, volume on 40' mumblefest with Tom Hardy and a European director but it was a really good, clear and understated performance. 8/10 Oh aye, I rewatched Blue Ruin t'other week - another good, low budget slow burner revenge film that I'd recommend. 8/10.

May 16, 20197 yr Author Watched Dawn Wall the other week - 8/10 And then Free Solo this week - 9/10 Gripping stuff. The latter had me sweating like a good un.
May 21, 20197 yr Bohemian Rhapsody was good, 8/10, didn’t realise Queen made so many great tunes Black Klansman was just all right 7/10
