Leyther_Matt Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 The Aftermath Too many unanswered questions and random plot lines that just fill time rather than serving any other purpose. Dislikable characters. You do get to see Keira Knightley’s fried eggs though. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Fighting With My Family Far better than I expected and I certainly wouldn’t say you need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy it. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Instant Family A lot more heartfelt than I was expecting but had it’s funny moments as well. 7/10 Quote
deane koontz Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Finally watched the Revenant, thought it was ace. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Fisherman’s Friend Glad to finally get it out of the way as it seems the trailers have been shown before every film I’ve seen for the last 6 months. Not the most dramatic of films but I enjoyed it all the same. Quote

(Footage of planes flying into towers maybe?) I enjoyed it, Bale is just something else isn't he. Method acting mentalist! Quote
deane koontz Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 They need to do a follow up to Nightcrawler. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 The Drop - James Gandolfini's last film. I was just flicking channels and settled on this (Film 4) and was glad I did. Expecting a 'needs subtitles on, volume on 40' mumblefest with Tom Hardy and a European director but it was a really good, clear and understated performance. 8/10 Oh aye, I rewatched Blue Ruin t'other week - another good, low budget slow burner revenge film that I'd recommend. 8/10.
