Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Watched 15:17 to Paris last night. A Clint Eastwood film about the fellas that stopped a terrorist attack on a Paris bound train in 2015. Nowt special in one way, but (if accurate) was more of a story of kids come good. Interesting and always good to see the terrorist get their just deserts. Quote
Zico Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 BlackKklansman about a undercover black cop who helps infiltrate the KKK alright 7/10 Quote

Finally got around to watching this last night (dodgy download). Bit disappointed. 7/10. Could've been better, but understand where the director was coming from. Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Took t’lad watching Wreck It Ralph the other day. Actual quite watchable with a subtle nod to our over reliance on the internet, social media trolling etc and god knows how many pop culture references  Didn't spot Cheese there fwiw.  Quote

Marc505 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 I'll try to say this in the least camp voice I can, but there's some worrying set photos and plot rumours coming out of Top Gun 2. Maverick and Goose's son stealing a long retired F-14 to fly on a rogue mission... Please don't be true. Quote

Really enjoyed that, watched it at the cinema which it really didn't suit to be honest but definitely worth seeing Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Can see your point there. Not massive amounts of action, and what there was highlighted the horror of it all. Refreshing change to normalisation of killing and choreographed shooting. Quote

Probably a typo , but can't tell nowadays. sounds like independence day mixed with its sequel. partly anyway.. in the first one (top gun) i never got what were going on (were the bad guys soviets or koreans ? , an airforce classroom ? ) The Last Starfighter made more sense. Quote

Blondi Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Watched The White Helmets on Netflix. a documentary about the war in Syria, who would have thought the Russians were bombing civilians and hospitals. Grim viewing, but worth watching. Â Quote
