I can't believe we drew that, we should have won by at least 3 goals.

Elmander and Muamba are to blame here, missing complete sitters, once is bad enough but twice Elmander ffs!

It was destined for Politt to make all those saves, probably won't play again all season, and maybe not again for Wigan, when he made that 1st save from Elmander, it was just obvious that he would end up the hero.

Man of the match for me was M.Davies, followed by Rodrigo, great goal from him and some very nice play to get past players, even though I thought his crossing was poor[except the one which Taylor headed back at him] and sometimes I thought he was a little greedy, a bit like when we had Weiss. Robinson had another good game also. Petrov was fantastc IMO when he came on.

K.Davies for me hasn't had a good game for a while, actually came in to the game the last 15 minutes and started winning flick ons, but I don't think even with the goal v Liverpool that he's at his best, Muamba's passing tonight was very poor and he should have won it in injury time, still he did make some decent tackles, but he lets himself down with his end product.

Wigan can count themselves very lucky, this is defo 2 points dropped, seriously can't be missing that many chances, Elmander is supposed to be a striker, if any scouts/managers where watching him tonight, they may have been put off, he has been fantastic for us this season, but tonight he was such a waste.

I'm classing this draw has typical destiny, we would have won if Kirkland didn't get injured, I'm certain, it was the same when we played Fulham at home and drew 0-0 on the opening day, they had a replacement for Schwarzer and he made save after save from Elmander.

Tin Pot :nea:

Not much better in our end. Oh I see must of our support seemed to be on here moaning rather than getting to the ground and backing the team. Bet they will all turn out for Chelsea just to see the opposition.

Just thought I would add an apology as I remember now. Most people said they will not return until Megson went so once again I am sorry. Well fuck the apology he has gone so where are you?? Bring on the excuses.

Kinell J, you're over baiting pal :good:

One thing I enjoyed again was Robbos performance. Where are the critics now?

That performance was unacceptable, lets be honest about that. Why people make excuses for it amazes me personally.

I didn't go and make no apology for that.

I won't be going @ home to Chelsea neither - 8PM Monday night on Sky category A+ forget it.

I'll go to Stoke though.

Based on the Managerial merry go round at the moment and Villa/West Ham/Liverpool/Chelsea potentially looking for new managers then Coyle may well be going elsewhere.

He'll be linked thats for sure and i wouldnt have thought he'll show any loyalty to BWFC.

I was dissapointed with the crowd thought there would have been 20,000 on but what a stupid night for another match the pain of being the 2nd day back in work after an expensive christmas period for most families, a lot of kids back in school, then a supposedly mouth watering fixture on Sky, only the die hards from both clubs could be bothered turning out on a damp cold miserable night, surely this round of fixtures should have been re-scheduled later in the season, do the premier league not realise we are in a serious recession and money is tight over Christmas? ridiculous to put another fixture into the crowded christmas period.

Moreno yes tonight, but personally I thought mark Davies lost the ball too much; I like him as a player but he gets dominated in the middle too much and him and mamba can't boss games enough together, I still think he'd be good on the right when Holden returns....and make no bones about it fabrice is missing his mate in the middle sorely!

Have we won a league game this season when Holden hasnt played?

He's to blame for their goal, nowhere near the left back position whence ball was played out wide, and Taylor hate pace of a dead slug trying to get back

There's many who disagree with me, but I maintain that Fabrice is a class act.

He's good at defending but his passing and thought when going forward was atrocious last night. Holden definately makes him look better than he is.

That'll give you something else to moan about then.

Football is overpriced and we are in a period of austerity where tax has just risen to an all time high. Most people now pay around 50% off their income through taxes of some sort or another. FWIW, I went last night but get a fuckin' grip. Why does anyone owe you an excuse or anyone else for that matter? And more importantly, why are you so arsed? This is something I don't get. I never go to a game thinking about the vocal support of the crowd.

Coyle needs to re-look at the 4 in midfield especially while Holden and Chung Yong are absent there legs are badly missed and leaving Muamba trying to cover acres of midfield space is a bridge to far, we need fresh legs either on loan or signed in January, other wise we will have to sacrifice the 4 in midfield, I hope Pratley is signed from Swansea he will help the midfield out.

Shite game and the attendance was a joke,i know a few who could not make it but that was embarrassing

Thought we looked very tired but we had the chances to win the game, another point nearer to safety.

It's not just us though is it? Villa and Newcastle to name but two, had plenty of empty seats last night. Blame the Premier League for squeezing another mid-week fixture into an already expensive period of the year. No wonder the attendances in the Third Round of the F.A. Cup are suffering.

I'm with Zico, Petrov has to play.

He was brilliant last night.

Yeah, at times hes a luxury and theres games where he does fuck all, tell me a winger that doesn't

get him asap

You cant help but feel that has Klasnic been on for the last 15 we'd have won that. Anyone know whats wrong with him?

When discussed in the players lounge last night with a senior pro, his reaction to us asking about Klasnic's injury raised plenty of doubt for Klasnic's hunger for playing on cold wet January nights.

you cant compare a 10 min cameo against a team under the cosh, with a full 90 mins.

id prefer taylor to start, run his bollocks of then petrov to come on in the latter stages to make an impact.

He'd rather be out shagging by some accounts.

Spot on Mounts. Especially away from home we generally have 2 playing 3 opponents in the middle. It has required Holden and Muamba to work over and above the call of duty. Even the games we won at West Ham and Wolves we were hanging on as we couldn't get hold of the ball and keep it to play the game out. Liverpool and Chelsea, we just gave them far too much of the ball.

I too hope that we get Pratley who is a decent attacking midfielder.

Thought Taylor was to blame for their goal - no idea why he was stood where he was and ended up not being able to stop the cross. That was their one chance in the game and they took it. Not a great performance by us but we still did enough to win the game (apart from putting the ball in the back of the net). For me we've dropped points here against Chelski, Scouse and Wiggin, should have had more than 1 point for our efforts. Going to have to play better if we want to get anything at Stoke.

Also, I don't know how but MOTD seems to be getting worse week in week out.

I'm with Zico, Petrov has to play.

First of all, I hope the Petrov being brilliant was sarcastic otherwise you've stopped talking sense / watching the game properly

Secondly, the "winger" bit is the salient point - we aren't good enough to have "wingers" - we need wide midfielders, who track back and help the full-back

Spot on Robinson, revels in games like this. Although hes been player of season imo.

Bad day at black rock last night, simple as.

Give some of them a seat on bench for saturday, that should help.
