This is a sad day for our club

A credit to the town, the club, the country and the sport.

 

A huge loss and will be missed by many.

My thoughts are with Nat's family

A very sad time for all who follow the whites. R.I.P. you lion.

RIP, never be another. True credit to Bolton.

He was the the lion, the lion of Vienna

He was the lion, the pride of Lancashire

There was other centre forwards at other football teams

But the lion of Vienna is the best we've ever seen.

RIP Nat Lofthouse, A True Working class hero, and one of the Finest Footballers ever to wear the three lions. You will be missed. Ive seen the 58 final so many times, as a kid and he was true inspiration !

In this period of massive wealth that we find ourselves in, let us never forget that Nat's baby "The Lifeline" draw virtually kept our great club alive during the dark days of the 1980s. He contributed so much for BWFC even long after his playing days ended.

We won't see his like again. A one off
