Another Burnley , dont remember this game at all , only ever went when we were in the corner with the no-mans land on one side , never been behind the goal ...

We did the travel club for that for some reason

I did the Travel club for the fa cup game all those years before. It was a war zone afterwards, and no sign of the bus- it was further up the road for safety, but couldn't see it initially.

The following week, for the league game, I got my brother to come and drive!

Remember in well, a couple of days before Xmas.

They had played Rovers at home the previous week and gone mental after losing and smashing their own town up.

Lots of theirs were subsequently in hiding and around 100 Bolton “lads” got into The Big Window unopposed early doors, which wasn’t easy in Burnley at the time.

Who's doing the commentary on that Stockport game?

Barely raise a hint of excitement!

Think its from the Stockport club video .

There was loads of trouble after that game.  Was in the days when you could leave the paddock and walk up the steps to the rough ground behind the embankment, where most of the away fans parked. It was carnage up there afterwards.

That’s the first time I’ve seen a video taken from Burnden Stand side (I think)

The Southampton cup game was filmed from there 2-2 .

Opening day and they were newly promoted, on their way up under Lou Macari. Under 6k on yet was the 4th biggest home attendance of the season!

Quick copy of the goals v wolves in the play offs with interviews from Greavsey and scott green .

Story goes that Scott Greens brother,  Tony , battered him after he scored the winning goal at molineux in the cup. Being a wolves loony and so he had to have his teeth fixed.
