Yes. Went on a stag do a few years ago with Chris Pearce (Burnley keeper) who played with Compo. They were really big mates - told me a few stories about him. Really great lad by all accounts. Seems that the pitch is massive from that angle, with lots of space, though maybe the quality of player, with good control creates the space. How good was tricky Ricky too.
