We'll see what??

He hasn't signed a deal with us as he isn't allowed.

To be fair, I know you have never been wrong before  , but in this instance what you are saying cannot happen!

Didnt that big Croatian - Prso? - supposedly sign a pre-contract with us before eventually signing for the Pope's O'Rangers? I'm sure I remember BSA moaning about it.

We should have spent the 1 million Swansea wanted for him in January, then we would not have gone into the semi final with only 2 central midfielders.

nathan dyer looks good for them as well.

Cohen, Davies and Muamba makes at least 3 in Jan we had Holden as well. So its understandable oc wouldn't cough up for someone we could get for nowt in the summer.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing eh mounts

is he in the last year of his contract? because if he is, he can

also read that Brum and Sunderland want him too

With 6 months left you can sign for a foreign side.

Signing for an English team can only officially happen once your contract is up. However like with JLoyd Samuel the wheels can be set in motion behind the scenes before that.

so what you're saying is, you can sign a deal

pre contract I think the term is

http://en.wikipedia....i/Bosman_ruling

In addition to this, players can sign a pre-contract with another club for a

free transfer if the players' contract with their existing club has six months

or less remaining.

and on that note, according to Sunday Express

Jean-Marc Bosman, the Belgian footballer whose court case changed the way the

transfer system worked leading to hugely increased player salaries, is now

unemployed and living on benefits

Pratley from Swansea good player out of contract .................nailed on

Cohen and Mark Davies have been unreliable due to injuries most of this season, but I can understand Bolton not wanting to cough up 2 million if Pratley has indicated that he would definitely sign when his contract is up.

Pratley scored for Swansea in third round, so he would have been cup-tied even if he had signed after that game on 8 January.

Any chance he could change his surname?

We have been short of midfielders since Sean Davis got injured a season and a half ago. So I am surprised that this wasn't a priority in one of the windows. Cohen not progressing has been a disappointment because he proved he can get around the pitch and stuck in in a few games last season, especially away like Fulham and West Ham. Which is just what we needed on Sunday.

so what you're saying is, you can sign a deal

no, he's not saying that

he's saying you can't sign for a team in the same country until your deal is up

This is correct.

The other issue is GazNT's source for his ITK info.

The same story (almost) was posted on another wanderers site at the same time as here. They however named the source.

10 points for whoever has a wild stab in the dark at where Gaz ITK NT got his info from?????

Go on spill the beans.

Some agent on Twatter

Peter Morrisson?

He has a fax in his pocket?

so what Gaz meant to say was the wheels are in motion and as good as done, a la JLS, and not already signed, a la Gerald Cid
