Tuncay doesn't fill me with optimism but will be a fuckin sight better signing than the likes of Helgusson or Raziak who have been "the answer" in the past!

Fair enough if you have pressing time issues or lack of money, to say that the quality of players we have signed is the reason is not valid, you could look at a long list of signings who were a massive success at BWFC despite them never hacking it elsewhere or signed from lower leagues, I will name just a few, Gudni Bergson,Michael Ricketts, Simon Charlton, Mike Whitlow,Kevin Davies, I could go on and on, the fact of the matter is with the lack of resources and piss poor support we have we need to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Good point mounts, but mine was that I didn't think Tuncay was the messiah some on here are hoping for based on what we know about him recently.

I doubt Tuncay or Jerome or SWP were near the top of his wanted list originally, but needs must. Only N'gog is near OC's aim of signing young hungry players who might increase in value.

Maybe, as Mounts says, 1 or 2 of the above would turn out to be great signings ...... if we get them in anyway.

Without a permit he can't play so the best thing is to obtain the permit then confirm rather than parade him in a shirt n scarf then to announce the permit has not been granted

The club only confirm when a transfer is complete. It isn't complete till he has a work permit. He will get a work permit next week and the deal will formally be announced.
