What Are You Most Sacred Of In The World?

I don't remember it being covered on here before...

I have 2

1 is fuckin stupid!!

1st and foremost it is enclosed spaces... I am severely claustrophobic. Can hardly breathe when entrapped. So bad I don't even like being in a town with buildings all around me

The other thing is touching a live fish. I was a fairly accomplished fisherman and just couldn't bring myself to touch the cold slimy bastards with a bare hand/ I carried a cloth in my pocket which I used to handle them.... and even then my stomach turned. I also kept tropical fish until recently which I loved but couldn't touch them... mind you, I never had to!

Wasps!! Ive always said im not scared of any man,but put a wasp infront of me and watch me shit myself! The worst thing is acting like a royal spaz in a public place when one comes near you! Ive learned to handle my fear abit better though over the years!

i have a phobia of Phobophobia

Most scared of in the world, death I'd say.

As for irrational phobias, balloons, can't even be in the same room as them, sponges and finally cotton wool ripping

Heights, although I believe its not actually the height its the fear of falling.

Surely more the sudden stop at the end that people fear..

As for me, clowns (ever since seeing IT) and Dwarves or whatever the politically correct term is. Its nothing personal, i am sure they are very nice people but they freak me out for some unknown and ridiculous reason.

Birds (the ones with feathers)

Same here no reason for it either had no bad experiences but the scare the shit out of me!

What about a dwarf clown?

Its not a phobia and I am not scared of them but wooden lolly sticks make me shiver too.

I am not particularly fond of the sea probably because I am not a great swimmer.

I am scared of cockroaches though, horrible dirty little fuckers! I hate woodlice too.

chocolate buttons and wool in the same packet.

getting caught smoking by my dad.

Needles and worms.

I passed out recently when the Grandson had some blood taken.

And how can you trust a little slimey fucker with no head??

I've never understood the wasp thing, I was at a butty wagon a couple of weeks when the bloke next to me started having an epileptic fit and screaming theres a wasp near you!!! I looked at him like he's shit on my breakfast the idiot.

Do you think there could be a few of us, as in enough to make a society?

With you on those two

I don't like man made heights - i.e. being in a very high building, yet I don't mind if it's natural, say a mountain or a cliff...odd maybe?

Also, I know it's not strictly a phobia, but does anyone else get something like the following: If I'm driving over a bridge I get a (very suppressed) urge to see what would happen if I just drove off it; or if I'm ski-ing, to just go over a cliff face.....obviously I've never done it, but it goes through my head....a friend of mine has exactly the same thing...

Yes, & I thought it was just me and feared others will call it suicidal tendencies & send me to a special hospital, so never really thought to admit it before.

Am the opposite way round to that, man made stuff I'm fine with, been to top of eiffel tower & looked over no problem, same with buildings.

But put me on a ladder just a few metres high and its a different story.

Maybe as said earlier, its more the fear of being able to fall rather than the height

I can go up any rollercoaster, high building anything like that, but i went to Centre Parks last year and me and the Missus decided to do some Tree Trekking about 30 meters up in the trees.

Even though i was safe and had a rope and harness line incase i fell etc it was the most scary 15 minutes of my life. i was pumping with sweat and was completley scared out of my wits. My Missus showed me up as she whizzed round the course and beat me round easily. Id never been fearful of hieghts before but i certainly wont be going high up in the trees again anytime soon.

I have a number of phobias, which is a little worrying:

Wooden lolly sticks. As a child my mum had to get my plastic ones and make them for me. As an adult I have to stir my Starbucks coffee with a straw (my teeth are now itching).

Balloons. The normal ones, not the silver helium ones.

Kids, as in more than 5 in a group.

I had to be lead out of Frankie & Bennies once by Missus C as I had a bit of a seizure when a group of kids were coming out as we were waiting and one got his balloon caught on my handbag.

I think they're the main ones.

One of my mates is a hairdresser and was doing my hair the other night. Well, she warned me a lad was coming with his kid for a quick trim whilst my colour was on. The little fucker turned over Mtv Base to some fucking Disney channel which had American kids on some sort of "comedy". Their voices were literally like chalk down a blackboard. I found my teeth began to itch & my head hurt.

Do parents switch off from that noise?

The Disney channel may as well be called the torture channel, Disney XD however has the 90s marvel cartoons and phineas and fern on so is fine by me.

I don't mind lads so much as they'll watch the wrestling with me or the footy. Girls and they're interests both annoy and scare me in equal measures.
