Going to the match, having a few after, home before the nobheads start.

 

I know I'm a miserable bitch, but for me, it's the worst night of the year.

We tend to vary what we do, last year we did Oulten Hall in Leeds for a black tie do, year before we did Edinburgh, couple of years before we did Isle of Bute. This year were just round a friends for a meal and champers.

That's the hotel of choice for the company I work for when we've got overseas visitors. I stop there quite a bit too. Let me know if you're planning on stopping there again and I'll give you my employer's name and you should be able to blag the discount no problem.

 

As for my plans, it's my first as a single man for as long as I can remember. Fuck knows what I'll be doing. On the bright side though, at least if I end up in town the cost of a taxi home won't be an issue.

As for NYE, I'll be abroad. Did it last year and for the first time ever I went back to the office in January relaxed and energised....it's the future

Off to Cornwall. Staying in a listed building, thatched roof, pub at the bottom of the path, etc, etc. Should've been ?1,250 for the week, got it for ?30.

I usually do a party but ain't got a booking yet, infact I've not got Xmas eve booked either.
