December 20, 201114 yr Living in London, and generally not much caring about football for quite some time, I haven't seen much of this current team. I've been watching tonight, mainly in a rubber necking a car crash expectation. Did we actually pay money for Ngog? Absolutely fucking dreadful player.
December 20, 201114 yr might be just a Christmas injury Talking of which, has Nolan got his annual Christmas suspension yet ?
December 20, 201114 yr N'gog is far from dreadful With his movement and link play we look alot better than with K Davies up front
December 20, 201114 yr N'gog is far from dreadful With his movement and link play we look alot better than with K Davies up front Agreed entirely; if it's up in the air- forget it. Into feet far better than KD. Get him fully fit, making them runs down the channels and we'll be o.k.

December 20, 201114 yr Looked shattered in the second half tonight. No way he is fully fit. Wouldn't surprise me if that injury is something and nothing. I suspect there's a lot more to come from him.
December 20, 201114 yr i thought he was quite poor but, his extra pace means the opposition have to defend deeper than when the lump starts the lump who didn't get a run in the first 4 strikers tonight
December 20, 201114 yr Wasn't great tonight but did well for the first goal. Just needs a run of games. Glad we have him.
December 20, 201114 yr He was poor tonight, but I've seen enough of him to know he's a very decent player. Seriously lacking match fitness and sharpness

Jesus christ win tonight and this is the thread you decide to start? baffled!
December 21, 201114 yr Even if fit, he'll not be in the team for much longer. Everyone knows Eggnog is just a December thing.
December 21, 201114 yr Created the first, created the space for the second. That's good enough for me in his first start in a while.
December 21, 201114 yr what he does do is run... and run dacross the back four into the flanks stretching the defence ...with him and klasnic we look far more dangerous he did look fucked and i think was more of a reason for going off
December 21, 201114 yr what he does do is run... and run dacross the back four into the flanks stretching the defence ...with him and klasnic we look far more dangerous he did look fucked and i think was more of a reason for going off Agreed, and with Mark Davies running at em it opened up so much and had them all over the show
December 21, 201114 yr He did enough for me last night. Not in the same goalscoring class as a Sturridge or Anelka but we did only pay ?4m not ?20m for him so I am happy with his shift. He occupied their back four enough and him and Petrov gave us an out ball which has been lacking for most of the season.
December 21, 201114 yr Ngog will prove his worth when he gets fully fit and regular starts. Ive seen enough in the games he has played to suggest that he will do a good job for us. He was a bit rusty at times last night but his movement was good and he caused them problems. The opposition defence has to drop deeper when he is playing because they cant leave too much space in behind. This gives our midfield more space to get into the game.
December 21, 201114 yr He gave the ball a bit a fair bit 2nd half but what he does have his pace and movement which puts defenders on the back foot and is ideal at the side of an intelligent player like klasnic if we're going to play 4 4 2 all the time. Pointless playing davies unless ur going to just lump it and even then he doesnt win the majority of headers/hold up the ball like he used to anyway. Leave Davies for when you're level/goal behind with 20 mins or so to go
December 21, 201114 yr His pace created the first goal. I thought he did well but is clearly not fully fit.
December 21, 201114 yr You looked a different team with him uptop. Yes he is crap, but having him certainly made you play the ball on the deck more. looked decent in patches last night.
December 21, 201114 yr Agreed, and with Mark Davies running at em it opened up so much and had them all over the show The same Mark Davies who only goes sideways or backwards apparently.......
December 21, 201114 yr One goal doesnt make up for him being shite for the last 12 months. Its pretty ironic given your posts about Knight.
December 21, 201114 yr One goal doesnt make up for him being shite for the last 12 months. Its pretty ironic given your posts about Knight. Ooh you were just waiting for that weren't you, you tinker Davies hasn't been great but he's still good enough for our starting 11 and one if our best options to penetrate, goal scoring or not What's this about Knight now??
December 21, 201114 yr My point is you were using mavies performance last night to justify he has been good. In which case, knight has been good as he was brilliant last night. Fact is, both have been shit. My problem is( and i dont supoort or hate any one player over an other, reo choker aside) theres no consistency. Certain players get hounded no matter what and others can be as shit as they want and get nothing but support. The prime example is mark davies, before last night hes done nothing since the blackpool home game last year and hes never had a bad word said about him. He never will by most. Pratley comes in and plays half the games davies has and hes the worst signing ever, championship standard, all the usual lines. Fact is, both have been as shit as each other. Only diffrrence is, one has has 3 times as many chances and is still untouchable.
