Ream, which I read is as good as done, should be enough really, gives us 3 centre backs - anyone else would be 4th choice so wouldn't be a big signing - if he does get ream the I'd fully expect him to then concentrate on other areas

i hope this Ream is going to be a regular if he signs. We signed enough squad players not good enough for the best 11 in the summer. When your as average as we are i want players signed to come into the 11 not make up 12-18 on the bench

I read a forum about Ream and the reviews on him were mixed to say the least. He seems to be a ball playing type who likes to play out from the back but needs a solid centre half beside him who can tackle and head the ball... Knight can head and Wheater can tackle as long as he doesn't have to turn and chase someone. Shame we don't have one that can do both. I can't find the site that I was reading about him now but some were saying that they wouldn't be sorry to see him leave.

 

Hopefully he will be as good a signing as Stuart Holden has been.

Ream sounds abit like cahill in my opinion, in the way he likes to advance with the ball and find a pass

I just hope he has some pace about him, one thing cahill had was pace to make good recovery if he did make a mistake

Do you presume he'll head a ball the way he's facing instead of Knight who just get's the ball to hit his head and who knows which direction it'll riccochet? Thrup'ney bit yed I think it was in my dad's day.

Can nt see the dingles selling to a fellow relegation candidate.

 

They have to sell before they can buy, so they have two choices, either sell quickly to us so that they can get on with their own plans, or wait until someone else comes in and run the risk that the players they want have gone elsewhere by then.

good to see we are being ambitious but I couldn't imagine an 18 yr old Argentinian lad could adapt and do much for us in 6 months

Never heard of him, Porto have another electric 18 year old in Kelvin, he looks something special.
