Bolton 1 Wigan 2

Truly massive game for both teams next week, I aint looking forward to it and would settle for any rag arse win, if we win it I really fancy us to get out of the mess were in, if we don't I will be very very worried.

More than likely been mentioned somewhere but muamba is now retweeting someone who sent him those stats about when he plays, subbed and dropped

Not fallen out? Bollocks

Perhaps he needs managing and not an arm around the shoulder & a game of head tennis.

missed the game on Saturday due to work commitments. saw the result and that is it. no reports videos interviews anything i dont even know who scored.the last time i was this disappointed in my club was the semi final last year.

You're not missing anything. Apart from the MD goal, there's nothing worth seeing. And don't know about you, but I don't want to hear/read any more bullsh*t from OC.

Me too. I can just about stomach losing by four or five goals that are way above us in terms of value and ability. Losing to a team that looked to be being the first team to be relegated hurts like hell. How can we have fallen so far so quickly? coyle, you have a lot to answer for.

all i've seen this morning is OC saying we shot ourselves in the foot. NO SHIT!

on paper they were there for the taking. i still cant stomach it at all.

I still can't get this game out of my head. Still bewildered about the formation change. Its doing my fuckin head in

Could be wrong, but weren't we, more or less, at the bottom of the table when he came in? That's not much of a fall.

We're fucked this season because arguably our two best players got injured long term and our best defender had to be sold to get any money in at all. Aa a side issue, we're trying to rebuild a squad that's past its sell by date, many of whom are on the kind of money we can't afford. Some players who were winging it have been found out badly too.

Coyle's tactics haven't helped. Saturday was shocking. But we've still got a squad capable of keeping us up. It's down to Coyle to get his head screwed on right - and if Sammy Lee has come in, maybe he can knock some sense into him on that front.

Surprised to see flares in the Wigan end too. Mind you, I hear they're still in fashion there.

i agree with all of that

yes, there are mitigating factors

but, we should be doing better!

but, we should be doing better!

and we were

so why change it?

the more I think about it, the more it winds me up

How many attempts did it take?

We were 3 from the bottom and had played 2 or 3 games less than those down there with us.

Last 5 games record then was W1 D3 L1.

Oh happy days....

thats where i'm at

totally fcuking frustratted

Bottom 8 the night Megson got sacked:

4 have since gone, the other 4 are us, Blackburn, Wigan & Wolves.

Blackburn Since changed their manager, Wigan had at the start of the season.

Which may put things into perspective, and maybe not.

13 Blackburn 20 21

14 Burnley 20 20

15 Wigan Athletic 19 19

16 Wolves 20 19

17 West Ham Utd 20 18

18 Bolton 18 18

19 Hull City 20 18

20 Portsmouth 19 14

Coyle thinks that at home to a 'lesser team' 4-5-1 is negative. Which I can agree with to an extent. Therefore he plays 4-4-2 which again I can agree with.

Nobody knocks points off for negativity.

If we'd won, there'd have been one less relegation place to worry about.

If we'd drawn we'd have had one more point, a better goal difference and we'd still have been four points ahead of Wigan.

They're basic relegation sums and Coyle didn't do them.

At the moment 4-4-2 is a more negative formation than 4-5-1 because we dont see enough if the ball with 442, if Coyle feels that 4-4-2 is the way to go it must feature Muamba as he has the legs to carry it, it is plainly obvious that Muambas twitter is the reason he was dropped and that has cost us dearly because Coyle then dug his heels in, a good man manger would have fined Muamba a weeks wage and then said go out there and get the win and we can talk about giving it you back, Coyles man management is fooking shite.

This is it, isn't it.

Got home from work on Sat. knew we'd lost but that was it.

When I saw the team I just completely lost it,(wife just shakes her head now, she's getting used to it).

Why you stupid bastard,why?

Save me trawling through the entire thread what has Muamba put on his twitter - dropped for being late?

What makes it more fucking annoying is the fact that after about 30 mins 90% of the people in the stadium could see we were getting pissed on and a change was needed. A good manager would of changed it but Coyle just kept it as it was hoping it would somehow miraculously come good. Everybody around me was saying Wigan are gonna score any minute and guess what they fucking did. I just dont understand how he can see what is so obvious to everybody else!

Good grief.

He claims we battered them for half an hour in the 2nd half too.

What a fucking tool. Mavies banged in a screamer, apart from that we barely made a chance from where i was watching.

And a screamer that relied heavily on Ngog's inability to see where the ball was. He laid it off with his back for fuck's sake!

Yep, the only thing of note I remember is a wheater daisy cutter that didn't trouble Al Habsi too much ?

Megson would have been lynched by now if he was sailing this ship

Fuck me the Pigheaded twat train has pulled up at Coylesgate Station -what a load of bollocks keep that up and we're 100% down you fucked up, you've alienated certain members of the squad for too long and now it's costing us and if Zat Fucking Knight pipes up one more time the week after a shocking display then I'll Tonya Harding the Bambi on ice fuckwit

I glanced down the item and my eye caught "pick on little things like the formation", and I thought "Don't want to read any more. I'll explode'".
