HuffyTheCampfireSlayer Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I'm sure that there is an exemption if the club is in administration I assume their contract would be deemed void and they will fall under the 'under no contract' rule but then that might be if it only goes completely bust. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 15, 2012 Site Supporter Posted February 15, 2012 According to the Sun (pich of salt) 8 premier league teams are being investigated for using Employment Benefit Trusts, like Rangers, to pay overseas players. We may be safe yet if clubs around us get docked 10 points.... TMGJ clutching at straws Quote
Zulu Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Just as long as we are not one of the eight, of course. Quote
Sweep Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 According to the Sun (pich of salt) 8 premier league teams are being investigated for using Employment Benefit Trusts, like Rangers, to pay overseas players. I presume these "Employment Benefit Trusts" are something to do with the whole "image rights" stuff that is often mentioned. I guess this would relate to those players who have some sort of "image" that is worth some money - that should mean none of our lot would be involved. You would suspect that the "big" clubs with the "big" players would be the ones involved - if indeed it's true. Either way, Rangers will no doubt be the first of many clubs that will be entering administration within the next 5-10 years Quote

Harry said Levy would have never appointed him if he thought he was dodgy. Yet he's not trusted with any of the financial details. Quote
