Bolton Wanderers and England under 21's midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed during the FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane as Tottenham Hotspur hosted Bolton Wanderers.

Fabrice 23, received medical treatment while on the field of play shortly after collapsing in the 41st minute of the game. Fabrice was then rushed to hospital as the game was abandoned by match official Howard Webb after consultation with both managers Owen Coyle and Harry Redknapp.

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Fabrice.

Update

Fabrice is stable although in a critical condition in intensive care in the Heart Attack Cente at the London Chest hospital.

Don't even know why, could of easily put a Spurs player on the back but I got an England shirt with Muamba on the back today.   Hello to you lot by the way, as you probably guessed I'm a Spurs fan!

  • Retiring the shirt is the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever heard.

Some good news coming out.

I am a Villa supporter popping in to say hello and give my best wishes. Don't really know what else to say it's a tough time for all...

Certainly better news tonight than any of us could have hoped.

Lets hope this good news keeps on rolling in.

He's coming home, he's coming home, Fab is coming home!

Fucking hell.

1, I've gone goosey as fuck just thinking about those words.

2. If the fans started singing them on Saturday I'd be in fucking bits!

According to Wikki he has an A level

I think Spurs will have a special place in my heart from now on.

The support from clubs all over the world has been humbling, but Tottenham Hotspur and their supporters have been class.......absolute class.

,

Some Italian clubs have "alliances" with others where normal hostilities are put aside, we should do the same,

After Saturday Tottenham will always have a special place in my heart, I am looking forward to shaking a few hands and thanking them in the home league game.

Reading all these threads tonight has made me feel proud to be a Wanderer again.

Keep fighting Fab.

Funny that we have had a tenner on that every home game for the last 2 seasons. Ironically last season he was on the bench one game so we didn't pick him,He came on early in the match and scored the 1st goal. What I'd give to see that again. Nice gesture by the way. Not getting too carried away, miracles do happen just don't stop praying for ours yet.

Its been heart warming today to go on the many football websites and see the messages of support for Fab. The Blue Moon site had over 57 pages of people wishing him well alone along with many others.

Tears in my eyes again .... come on Fab

If he carries on at this rate he will be on the bench on Saturday

The news just gets better and better, at this rate Blackburn will defo be on.

Going to pick up an extra 6 tickets tomorrow for part timers who are coming off the back of all this.

Full house will be the order of the day singing and winning for fab!

Need to get all the part timers out and fill the ground..

Cant believe the good will and messages from all over the world, hopefully all the prayers have been answered.

As usual I am a complete muppet when it comes to on line transactions, just about getting to grips with eBay!!!!
