Bolton Wanderers and England under 21's midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed during the FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane as Tottenham Hotspur hosted Bolton Wanderers.

Fabrice 23, received medical treatment while on the field of play shortly after collapsing in the 41st minute of the game. Fabrice was then rushed to hospital as the game was abandoned by match official Howard Webb after consultation with both managers Owen Coyle and Harry Redknapp.

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Fabrice.

Update

Fabrice is stable although in a critical condition in intensive care in the Heart Attack Cente at the London Chest hospital.

Don't even know why, could of easily put a Spurs player on the back but I got an England shirt with Muamba on the back today.   Hello to you lot by the way, as you probably guessed I'm a Spurs fan!

  • Retiring the shirt is the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever heard.

"it was 1 - 1, 'we was on top of em' then 40th minute that happened"

What is it with people saying its gone too far and we should let it go now? Its getting right on my fucking nerves.

A young man nearly died representing our club, our town and us and is still in a serious condition. He needs to know that we are still all behind him and that we havent forgotten about him.

To just let it go would be disrespectful IMO.

Never mind that he's a footballer getting a (decent) wage, he's still just a young lad (23?) with a young son.

I've a 23 yr old daughter (I know I don't look old enough! :D ) and I know I'd still want people to be thinking of her more than 10 days or so after she almost died in public.

(Before you ask, v. large)

I just wanted to die when i saw it, i just shook my head in disbelief

What a pity the cameras didn't capture the moment at half time on wednesday night he was stumbling along the pathway at the top of the steps ( he was extremely pissed and could barely see ,let alone speak ) when a steward tells him

"sit down in your seat now , I dont want you injuring yourself on my watch " ,

at which point , he turns to head back to his seat and falls face forward straight onto the concrete floor - absolutely flat out ....was amazed he got up ..even more amazed he was not seriously hurt ..but was very very funny .

Frank should wear a fucking big FUCK TWAT CUNT badge just so the TV producers can't ask him to give an opinion to camera.

They'd be like flies round shit

I'm convinced they target the numbest cunts they can when interviewing Bolton fans.

Sadly, it's a buyers market for the interviewers though.

I thought he came across better than the spurs fans.

I just wonder if, given the percentage of not-rights interviewed each and every time something happens at the club, whether the tv folk are targetting them. If they are I'm fairly sure it would come under bullying or harassing vulnerable people.

Oi! I know where you live, cockmuncher!

BBC1 question time now is on about that student and whether his sentence is justified.

I used to watch Question Time religiously but realised it made me really angry which is not healthy jsut before bedtime.

The only thing I do now that infuriates me is Bolton. We all need a vice.

I wondered why our Thursday night FB messages and texts had stopped. I always think of you going off on one when there is a silly woman on
