Bolton Wanderers and England under 21's midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed during the FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane as Tottenham Hotspur hosted Bolton Wanderers.

 

Fabrice 23, received medical treatment while on the field of play shortly after collapsing in the 41st minute of the game. Fabrice was then rushed to hospital as the game was abandoned by match official Howard Webb after consultation with both managers Owen Coyle and Harry Redknapp.

 

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Fabrice.

 

Update

Fabrice is stable although in a critical condition in intensive care in the Heart Attack Cente at the London Chest hospital.

As far as I can see, it's just a short piece claiming 'a report' says he could be back before the end of the season. No quotes or sources or any substantiation whatsoever.

 

I suspect it's attention-seeking horse shit.

Get him back into the team now. He can sit in a wheelchair and have NRC pushing him around for 90 minutes. After all, NRC's having to try and carry M.Davies and Pratley around for 90 mins anyway.
