Bolton Wanderers and England under 21's midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed during the FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane as Tottenham Hotspur hosted Bolton Wanderers.

 

Fabrice 23, received medical treatment while on the field of play shortly after collapsing in the 41st minute of the game. Fabrice was then rushed to hospital as the game was abandoned by match official Howard Webb after consultation with both managers Owen Coyle and Harry Redknapp.

 

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Fabrice.

Fabrice is stable although in a critical condition in intensive care in the Heart Attack Cente at the London Chest hospital.

He's rightly been named and shamed and I've little doubt he's already regretting already what he's done far more than the majority of people who commit 'crimes' do..

 

As Frank has said above, he should be made to do community service. I'd suggest in a place where whites are the minority and where the police turn a blind eye to anyone gone-off fruit at him.

whilst its thoroughly unpleasant it does seem a tad excessive. Truth is that people are indifferent to serious injury/death unless they are directly involved.
