Got myself an away shirt as well, I will run the Manchester Marathon in April in it. The club shop have run out of M's and 6's though so I have to go back on Friday and get name / number on

Upside down Ws and 9s, problem solved

Aww, you guys.

You are correct, You cant get booked for lifting your shirt up, but you can for taking it fully off regardless of wether you have a WIFE BEATING vest on underneath with or without writing on

lets smash them fuckin dingle inbred cunts

SO MUCH FOR THE FOOTBALL FAMILY

I think the spurs chant should be done on at 41 minutes until half time IMO

They have sold over 100 Muamber shirts this week, I think they will be bombarded on Saturday.

Eh ?

The rule was brought in to prevent footballersfrom making political statements. I think Robbie Fowler started it with a reference to the Liverpool Dockers. I can understand just why the rule was brought in..

... But, I think the rule now needs to be reviewed/changed now though so it is not left to the ref to have to make a decision, especially if it is something like Cohen's Dad, Muamba or Billy Sharp's kid, etc.

It should now just be left to a panel to make a decision, post-match, on whether the message on the t-shirt had political bias. If it did then fine the player, if it didn't and was merely a personal message then there's no harm done.

I'm sure the refs would also prefer to not have to pull out their cards for something like this - it's nowt to do with football.

I agree with the FA

They should not be allo?ed to make a political statement, or gods knows what we would be showing on prime time tv

But celebrating the birth of a child, or wishing a sick team mate well, can hardly be classed as a political statement

The difficulty comes when someone wishes the dictator of a obscure country happy birthday, is that political or just a birthday wish

Dodgy ground IMO, but should be down to a sensible adminstrator , as to whether message is a political statement, or like in Fabrice's case a genuine outpouring of affection and concern

Difficult as to where to draw the line , but only common sense can prevail

They've had to ration the letter "a"

ignore it

he's a bit simple, i think

Also the shirt over the head thing, sponsors sent in a lot of complaints to the football league and the FA as they felt when a goal was scored that, that 'moment' was when the brand got the most exposure and threatened to withdraw funding unless the FA implemented a rule to stop it. So there you go lads and ladies!

nike were half responsible as they sent Ian Wright the Just done it vest when he scored his record breaking goal against? (I'll give you a clue Zozzy is giving him the v's )

I'm pretty sure that isn't true.

Remember reading TY threatening to withdraw funding from Pompey years ago because they kept doing it, maybe it's bullshit, who knows.

Carlisle whites shall be in full attendance in respect for Fabrice.

I expect nothing less than a victory

Unfortunately, I'll not be at the game: I'll be on one of my third world jaunts.

Racing at Bangor, North Wales (work!)

3-1 to the Whites.

We certainly can't afford to lose this is that would be Blackburn all but pulled clear. We need to put them firmly back in it.

I'm pretty sure that isn't true.

It isn't there are a few reasons

a lot of games are shown in Muslim countries and revealing the bare chest on Television may be deemed as offensive. (Don't shoot the messenger)

It can cause delays(e.g Diego Forlan not being able to get his shirt on)

revealing messages such as religious or political messages can cause offense to the viewer(e.g Mateja Ke?man showing a picture of jesus christ)

any such time the referee needs to take into consideration common sense.(e.g Billy Sharp showing a message about his son who was born and died two days later) but the player still may face problems from the competition organiser or FIFA.

HTH.

I didn't think it was true as we'd not heard anything about it (in my last job) & you'd think we would've.

it wouldn't make sense seeing as sponsors are usually all over the kits, shorts, socks and undergarments plus what about all the players celebrating with the goalscorer with their shirts on.

im gutted i will miss this weekend hoping to find it on in Sri Lanka.

hope its a fitting day for Fabrice. coywm

Has this game been confirmed as 'on' yet anywhere ?

are tickets being sold ?

Sky sports news said "bolton expect to play" last night... heard somewhere on here it would be confirmed today??

BWFC just tweeted that game is ON. Interestingly John McGinley tweeted that he is coming home to Bolton soon...
